TH8- Am I doing something wrong?!

Yesterday my Town Hall finally finished upgrading to level 8. On late TH7, I used to find 200k-150k gold bases
often (not too often, and not easily at all). Since my TH is level 8, I can hardly find ANYTHING worthwhile to raid!
I'm around 1400 trophies and its just impossible! i've already spent 250k on pressing Next, while only finding
50k bases or some insane TH9 bases that I can't even 10% with 150k and above.

What am I missing here? I can't advance AT ALL.

I too am an early TH8, and I am finding some bases with about 100k elixir, and saving up for lvl 5 troops. Then I will move to around 1400-1500.

This is a problem i also had when i first did my town hall, you will need to keep going ive just come out of th 8 and into th 9 and im struggling to find a good base i would just try different armies. you could try loosing 200 trophies and bring you down to silver 1 or 2.


I would just try and keep going!

Th8 farm generally in silver1-gold2. If you don't see loot around 1400 go look around 1500 or 1300.

Gathering 2 mil elixir is not difficult. As a last resort you can use sub200 farming. But it's too early for you to think, you cannot do it in a conventional way, since you have just started.

What do you mean i've just started? and i'm not only talking about Elixir, i'm talking about anything. I can hardly
make any progress, i'm actually losing money from raiding and nexting

Go up to about 1650 trophies. You will be amazed how much better the loot is
