Why do some people hate more loot?

Glad you love the game as it is. But please understand that other people have their own opinions on the direction the game is taking.

As a 1b GG player, I am getting bored with how stale the game is, and SC, for more than a year has yet introduced any game-changing content despite the numerous brilliant suggestions that have been long laid out there in the ideas subforums. There is alot of support for these ideas, and even brilliant graphical illustrations made by the community. Great example would be Mastermind's quest ideas, check it out to believe it.

What makes this even more aggravating is the loot. Over the past months I have realised the increased amount of 'nexts' I have to take to find anything worth attacking. I barch, bam and yes I have tried bigger armies but those 300k+ gold bases honestly do not come by often at all. I do boost from time to time as well and I am sure many of the high GG players will agree with me when I say that loot is just insanely INCONSISTENT. It can be great for just a bit and suck the rest of the day, or insanely good for an entire day.

Are 300k+ gold raids nice to find...sure. But, I don't hold my breath to find the "perfect" base to attack.

As I stated, volume, as in number of raids is the key to being successful...I don't need collector raids to progress as the OP desires.

Wow a 1 billion GG. Just 610 million here. Quite a feat Totally feeling you. I boost daily so the 80k raids add up to half of what I use to make. Get plenty of change trophies or learn to farm harassment as well. We cant all be in the same trophy ranges lol. Just wish the forums and the game could get past this terrible time but SC refuses to acknowledge or fix it .
Anger over the problems is making the forums look more and more like global everyday.....

Why can't I get 500k gold, 500k lix, 4k DE every raid? I shouldn't have to press "Next" more than once...GEEZ SC you ruined the game. Why make x-bows and inferno towers? They ruined the game. Why make a game that "everyone" says is too hard? Why SC? Give ME everything I want on a silver platter! Is that so hard?

And no, I don't work for SC. I am TH9, haven't been "lucky" and have been playing over a year. Loot is the same before and after the system changed. My logic isn't flawed....

Here's the secret.....VOLUME. You can't attack once a day and expect to progress. Play hard or don't play.

Lets put that aside for now(No point debating on something we feel and have no substantial evidence or facts on).


Secondly, you stated that VOLUME(Number of attacks) is the key to progress, and that to achieve this, you "Don't need collector raids to progress". This actually contradicts to my farming principals. If you're actually going for STORAGES, you most definitely need a much bigger(in terms of training time) army, instead of the conventional BARCH/BAM/BAG methods.

This literally means you get to attack much lesser due to high training time, and therefore not able to rack up as much 'VOLUME' than a smaller, faster army. Hence it is not 'Key' to progress as you have clearly stated, which totally contradicts.

Also, with regards to the loot currently, it is so inconsistent that I am not actually able to give you a definite 'Loot is always bad', but as a general consensus between five out of five of 1billion+ GG-ers including myself that I have asked the opinions of, the loot at many times is just so unplayable and the average loot has decreased drastically over the months. Then again, if you're finding good loot I am not going to slam you down and tell you to agree with our situation. But hey, just putting our opinion on the loot issues out there.

Yes I understand, but you have said so yourself clearly in the other post that volume is the key factor in raids, which I thoroughly agree. However your army composition does not show that at all.

30 mins to take down 200k(You've said you didn't need to search for anything above 300k) versus a barching army taking pathetic collector loot 80k x 3 = 240k (I am actually able to easily do more than 6 hits of 80k in 30m, but hey, I'll give a huge handicap to prove my point) in thirty minutes, which is the better option? And I am STILL actually able to find 150k collectors, but they are impossible to find at times, and at other times, 200k+ collectors are in great abundance(Back to my point of insane inconsistency).

I have racked up almost 700 attacks this season, and during christmas boosts I hit my peak of 1.3k attacks just plainly barching collectors.

Yea it really has been pretty frustrating. I have good days but they have yet to be as good as the good days before the update. Mostly its me taking 80k raid after 80k raid. One person says "hey gold 1 seems good" so wasting my boost I quickly head there. Find its the same as gold 3. Then someone says just change globals, so I switch globals every raid and nothing happens. Then its "just keep pressing next, itll come!" And I sit there for hour after hour hitting next feeling like some kinda of stupid monkey. Ive told SC, any clans or people in my area that want to meet for coffee you are welcome to check out my account and see this mess. Its not fun playing anymore. Its not fun sitting here complaining either.
At the end of the day it is what it is but I sure wish that every couple hundred nexts I would find an easy 200k. I really would stop ♥♥♥♥♥ing if it would just be that consistent.
Thats a pretty dang good gold grab. Dont run into many people near mine, let alone above it. ive heard above 500 mil is the top 5 percent or something. Dont quote me tho lol
