I can't believe a Town Hall 9 had zapped my Dark Elixir. Maybe he was mad I took 2500 from him and he couldn't touch mine. Either way, there is no reason a Town Hall 9 should be zapping. Pathetic

You know what's more annoying than a TH 7 zapping your DE storage? A TH 7 that doesn't even have the DE storage in the first place to store the precious loot.

2 lightning strikes.. boom 360 DE.

I'm a near maxed out TH 9 and I occasionally zap DE for 2 reasons.......


1) I often have full elixir storages and nothing to spend it on other than spells, so may as well convert it to dark by zapping DE

2) It makes people like OP mad

See here is where you're starting to sound a little "dumb"
Yes IT IS TRUE GOLD farming is usually done to premature and abandoned bases So pretty easy.
But DE farming is hard Way harder then gold farming your targets are usually very advanced Th 8-10s and u gotta crack the storage they usually protect the most with a FARMING army so I hope you kind off get the point off why we get so frustrated over lightings is ridiculous how I can loose 500-1500 DE to someone who doesn't even drop ONE troop and I'm over here figuring out how to farm Well developed bases

Nope, this is where your naivety begins to show,

DE farming is 'way harder' to you at whatever current level you are. Which is why DE zapping makes u so frustrated until u whine so hard.

However, in this vast universe we live in, you are only one tiny speck of many. And to the many, DE farming isn't that hard, which is why getting zapped is no big deal to them, they can easily earn it back in the next raid. If someone wants to use 4-5 lightning spells (which takes hours to cook) on our DE storage to get 1-2k..well, power to them man.

One day, you'll reach this level.

Well, 3 reasons why he did it
1.He so mad,
2.He wanted it back
3.he Failed, And he most likely trying to get them fists and cloaks, Unless he's already got them

Its a game mechanic that was not intended, it's like all the complaints about hogs, they destroy it all so easy. Lighting is the same but easier, click and leave/snipe. Just like a hog attack but instead of destorying everything, just getting 4/5 of the storage. I can say 95% of the forums were complaining about the hogs, but according to you "If you are not using the game's mechanics to your advantage that's your own fault." yet I can safely say that if this was about hogs people wouldn't be agreeing with this.

If supercell really wanted to solve this "problem" that you think they are trying to figure out and never intended they could have done so long long ago. Nerfs started coming to hogs fast and furious after they first became OP. If they wanted they could simply make lightning have no effect on DE storages just like the heal spell has no effect on inferno towers. But have they? No. Because they don't see this as a problem and it is very much intended to be part of the game.
