Th9 because i rushed right to it so now i have been playing catchup for months lol
Town Hall 9 lvl 87
I rushed my town hall to 9 on my 4th day of playing so I guess I have to say town hall 9
Th9 was the best. The loot is still pretty good, you get an AQ and xbows for the first time. Level 6 tier 1 troops are amazing for farming! You also get a second drill and the max is raised to 6 so the DE starts to really flow in. The extra 5 space in the maxed CC is awesome and you have access to every single troop in the game.
sadly i just started upgrading to th10 a few days ago. I haven't finished my walls (101 level 9 & 149 level 8) but I started my final lab upgrade and I am completely maxed on defense. I don't want to have an idle lab so i figure i will just finish my level 9 walls as a th10 even though it will be much harder to farm.
Th7 as the looting was the best ever and i had maxed walls that were spiked when wbs took skill to use. 8 & 9 were fun and the beginning of th10 was as well until the trap upgrade started the decline of farming. Its a pity that new players will never experience the utter joy the game was before it had the life sucked out of it. In my mind since the wb upgrade all the following upgrades have destroyed an element of the game that i found enjoyable.
In the old days as a Th7 you could build a spiked wall base that could hold out a 2 star from lvl6 troops
