    Dock for naval warfare, potentially other functions

    A dock could potentially be used to cultivate an entirely new type of warfare - marine warfare. The dock could make use of the beach at the bottom of the village, while boatyards could provide ships and marine adaptations of our loveable troops we currently clash with. I am aware that trading has been ruled out, but this could be a way to incorporate trading into the game, with cool down times for trades to prevent multiple accounts being used.
    I hope my idea is considered or at least viewed, and would love to hear any feedback.

    Resource collector "oil rigs"

    Attacker:
    -Battleships (designed for long range artillery fire)
    -submarine (good against sea defenses)
    -pirate ships (goblins if the sea)

    defense:
    -depth charges/mines
    -sea monsters or gun boats
    -"sea walls" (sea floor and built up)

    I like the dock idea, but trading is ruled out because it could be abused. We can expand on it though.

    Thanks for the positive feedback, and I love the idea of oil rigs. Maybe bit too futuristic, but could be adapted to fit CoC, definitely. For those of you who have voted against a dock, may I inquire why you are opposed to the idea.

    Sounds similar to things that are in Boom Beach.

    I have wanted some sort of ocean combat in this game since the first week that I have played....maybe a sea monster DE troop and new hero that must be deployed from the sea....that would be sweet :eek:

    Boom beach comes to mind...

    It just occurred to me that the witch would have been a perfect troop to introduce from the sea..

    She rises as a sea monster, summoning hordes of green, webbed foot demons from the waves to do her bidding in the land.
