    Thumbs Up New spell: Fire spell!

    The fire spell is a reddish-yellowish spell that when placed, it will make a ring of heat and damage. This can be donated and takes up 10 space and, when used on defense, will melt a freeze spell and damage enemy troops. It has a radius of 6 tiles.

    It has 3 levels, at level one, it does 50 damage and does 25% slow. At level two, it does 75 damage and does 30% slow. At level three it does 100 damage and does 35% slow.

    level 1 cost to make: 16000 level 2 cost to make: 18000 level 3 cost to make: 20000

    upgrade to level 2 cost: 750,000 elixir upgrade to level 3 cost: 1,500,000 elixir.

    This does 2 times the damage to dark troops( to reduce the amount of hog or witch swarms, as they get very annoying). It also has a chance( depending on level) to make troops "burnt" to where they move slower and take damage over time. If used on a hero, the hero will take the "burn" damage, but will not receive slowness. The final thing is that, if an ice spell is used on the ring it will cancel it out, adding both a good and bad thing to it.

    This kinda sounds like a Lightning Spell, except with a bigger radius.

    With new ideas for spells, troops, heroes, etc., need to come entirely new functions. If you notice with the latest DE troops and the freeze spell, they offer completely new tactics. Unfortunately, this spell idea seems too similar in function with the lightning spell. You might argue that the difference is that it is better, but then where does that leave the lightning spell? I'm not saying that a fire/fireball/fire-related spell is a poor idea at all, it just needs to offer something completely different (other than countering freeze spells, it's a glorified lightning spell).

    Maybe the spell does slow bleed damage over time to all of the structures affected by the area? Instead of all of the damage being done then and there in a couple of seconds like the lightning spell, it slowly does damage over 20 seconds? To make it unique, its total damage to the affected buildings is much less than that of the lightning spell, (there's no purpose in having a spell that's purpose is to do more damage than the lightning spell) HOWEVER, it's radius is larger than the lightning spell, and it does 2x damage to support buildings. This would be a spell useful for the higher leagues, allowing armies to skip by some support structures and get to the defenses quicker. Of course, one spell of this type would probably not take out barracks and army camps by itself, but weakening them gives attackers an edge to try to plow through them for that 50%, or to get to storages, etc.

    I just made all of that up, so pardon the roughness of my idea. I just thought I'd put in what I feel is a more logical idea for your great spell type.

    No.

    Spells are not donatable, no. This will not be any different. Saying that is was a ring of damage would've been fine, adding the rest ruined the idea.

    I agree with this version of the fire spell, in addition it could be used to set a trap for clan castle troops so that when they walk through it they get burned and also suffer this slow bleed damage for the rest of the battle.
