Is loonion even profitable????I mean, it just saps up sooo much elixir. How do you make up elixir for all that's lost using loonion?I use bam and barch at gold l and ll, is loonion just for crystal and master? I also heard you can trophy push using loonions too, is this correct? PM me all about it. im lvl 105 and wouldn't mind learning more about this strat.

loons elix wise makes you a profit in masters league with the bonus, yes barch and bam are the most effective in gold leagues but high crystal and up is usually loons, hogs and rare gowiwi until champ. Loonian is particularly used for de farming and the occasional gold farmer. Also you have heard correctly that loonian (probably with a drag for champ) is for trophy pushing also you can make substantial gains with 1-2 stars.

I've found that the problem with going for 2 stars is usually spells, assuming TH 10 opponents. Since I very rarely boost spells (done it once since 1 gem event ended), that isn't very practical, and I have to aim for one star only. However, this has served me well, and consistent 8-10 trophy wins per raid makes it very easy until about 3100 or so. After that, things get a little tougher, have to use heroes occasionally, etc. from my experience.

Anyone here go for 2 stars consistently in master or above? I'd be interested to see just how many spells it takes and how risky it is.

I'm in the same boat with you. for non-gemmers, the spell wait time is killer. I just stick to the 1 stars to limit my spell usage to 1-2 spells, and try to get by with the bare minimum and those 6-10 cups

I've found it pretty good to farm DE. I generally only attack bases that I can come out in front, and since I'm farming 1 star is fine, 0 star is also ok. So base wise if it has 150k+ for elixir, and 1k+ for DE I'm in. Gold I don't really need right now, but I generally accumulate a decent amount over time.

I'm in. Just finished a trophy push with loons, now farming and mulling about. Allways farmed with barch around 1800 but seriously contemplating staying in masters for some loonfarming

No one is going to argue that. People usually use balloonions either because they don't have time to do nearly constant BAM raiding, or they want a more exciting combo to use. Also it is a pretty good DE farming army actually.
