Oh my stinkin' heck.... Aunt Hildy is a cougar!

I haven't had much time on the forums this week but I'm off to read chapter 2 now and get caught up on this juicy story!

It is interesting that a lot of first reactions to this is that Hilda is a cougar.

I have never really liked the term cougar, but I take it to mean an older woman pursues younger men. I suppose that those type of women exist, but I dont see Hilda as one. Love, connection, that is organic. It is felt. It grows. It is real. An older woman being attracted to a younger man, is a woman being attracted to a man. Cougar implies intent to hook up with a young man specifically. Too intentional. And a May to December romance doesnt have to be like that. It is just as real as any other relationship.

She is a good woman Aunt Hilda. Cougars are racy I think. Hilda isn't. She wears an apron and sensible shoes. She has a kind heart.....

Now that I've read chapter 2, I see what you are saying Jude. Hilda is unexpectedly finding herself in this budding romance.

Not sure yet if it's love or infatuation on Fritz's part yet though.
