Makes sense as long as the loot gets better at each th. For me, I think loot is best at th8(chill at 1250-1350, use 50 troops on collector raids all day). Not that th9 is horrible, but I probably get 15-30% less loot at th9. So I could see this strategy being good until you get to th8.

But you suggest rushing to th9 if you got your offense maxed. So do you think loot is better at th9 then?

If you farm collector on 1250 then TH8 is better, but it's hard to find DE there...

If you farm both collector and storage on 1650 then TH9 is better because you can protect your loot better and you have better troops to get Gold/DE from stronger base.

No doubt DE is hard that low, but as a th8 I maxed my king pretty quick. But yea I see what your saying, if you like to farm higher, th9 is better.
Where did you farm as a th8, then as a th9?th10?

th7/th8 -> silver 1 - gold 3
th9 -> gold 2 - gold 1
th10 -> anywhere above 1900

Hey yaw. Do you think GiBarch is still the most effective way to farm walls after the update? It costs 100k elixir for full army and it requires spells sometimes and elixir has been put in consideration

When I first saw this thread at the beginning of April, I was a max th7 about to go th8. Now I'm a good th9 with 227/23 legos/lavas. I also have lv10/19 bk and aq. I just want to thank you for inspiring me and teaching me how maxing every th is not necessary.

Hi Sharon,
Currently I'm TH8 with the following:
- maxed mortar
- 2 maxed wizard tower, 1 still on progress
- 2 maxed AD, 1 still on progress
- maxed wall (skull)
- maxed camps, barrack and dark barrack
- the only troops maxed in Lab are Barbarian, Archer and Hogs, spells also aren't maxed
- BK lvl 9
- other defense are either TH6/7

I know it sounds repetitive, but here's my question:
1. Do you think I'll be fine if I go to TH9? I mean I only have barbarian and archer as farming troops (I was barching all this time)
2. Should I wait for other troops/spells to be maxed? (I'm thinking at least Minion, Giant, Wizard, Heal and Rage)
3. What trophy range should I be during early TH9 ?

My concern is, some people said the loot is horrible in TH9, especially after the last update.

1. If you don't go up... you can't farm anything because you already have maxed walls.
What you can do is just wait for the builders to complete, donating troops, farm a little and then wait for the builder again, this boring thing will repeat until you're TH9 and you can dump your extra gold/elixir into walls again.

2. If you wait for another months maxing troops, you will get maxed troops and better tesla/point defense.
If you go up now, at same time you can have lv.6 troops, jump and more spells, more camps, bigger cc, xbows, extra storage, extra AD, WT, Tesla, AT, LEGO-ed core. You should have about lv.10 AQ and your BK should already gained few lvl too...

3. Loot is so inconsistent after the last upgrade... there are 2 threads on general subforum that already have 2000+ complaint post about recent loot.

I'm not finding any 250k+ raids but finding heaps of 150k raids,

but still profitting really quick, where are you currently farming th10
I'm th9 but with goood troops and good attacking.
