Maxing TH is for normal-average time players.

nope, there are many players play few hours a day in session but get stuck on TH7/TH8 for months because too afraid to move on.

maxing TH is only effective when you're unsure what to do
if you knew clearly what the next TH offering, you will have more effective development whether you're active or not.

If you're hardcore farming then Archers is very worth it... It works well with Giants/Barbs to build fast farming army.
stats might seems like just small bumps, but archers lv.6 can survive lv.5 mortars, lv.6 WT hits, thus makes them survive longer. And the extra 2dps is 200 dps is you bring 100 archers. Then if your archers is shooting their arrow for about 30 seconds in the battle, It's 6000 total damage gain. That's huge... you can take down extra 5-6 buildings.

Loon on other side is perfect if you're farming on high league and pushing. It takes time to build loon army, so it's just good if you just have time to attack few times a day. I won't recommend it for hardcore farming when you want to attack every 15-20 minutes.

So archer is way to go

I'm a TH8, with maxed mortars, wiz towers and cannons, archer towers are all level 9 and air defense is level 5. I have all level 7 walls. At this point I'm losing more than I bring in. I'm getting raided, and 3 starred none the less, every night. I came to th8 prematurly and think I'm going to exit that way too. I'm gonna go to th9, with the fourth storage, and xbows and another archer tower and wizard tower. I really think that I'm what someone called a smart player, one that doesn't max all the way, but knows what their doing. Is it bad if I go to th9? My whole army is maxed. I think I'm ready, I'm not gonna spend 2 months farming skulls. Someone just tell me if I'm ready to go or not

your base is okay because splash damage is already maxed, but I think it's good if you max out gold and elixir storage to carry 6m/6m when you arrived on TH9. So you can start lab, sf, a camps asap.

the most important thing when you want to go TH9 are:
- are your regular troops / spells maxed?
- can you get elixir easily? (this is to make sure you can get offense maxed and Lv.6 troops asap)

Why dont your mini id farm those wall just like your main id?
I will start to farm lego in a couples days, but i dont know if its worth for defense or just to make my base look awesome lol
Is there any pros and cons since you experienced th9 with different level wall?
