A TH7/TH8/TH9 Premie Journey ...

Now i have max walls, max troops except minion (lvl2), hogs ( lvl 3) valk (lvl1) and golem (lvl 1) and left with only tesla (2 are now to lvl 5 and one to lvl 4). I am thinking to either upgrading the TH or just waiting and farm DE for my BK (Lvl 7 going to Lvl 8 now). What is yr opinion? I am bad at raiding DE, and if really that TH9 offer better DE (I am collector raider) in which league (range of trophies) and composition of troop should i used? I want an assurance and confidence. Haha. I am in dilemma. I did wished tho to have lvl 10 BK before moving up, but i am just loser when comes to DE raid. Your kind opinion is highly appreciated.

I am also bad at raiding DE when I was TH8. But now I am a TH9 and raiding for DE is not hard. I use many combos
and the most effective one is brandon's guide combo.
In my opinion, you're very ready to upgrade to TH9.

Thank u for yr opinion, but in which league should i stay. I am thinking that if DE is easily get when in TH 9 then it should also be the same for th8. Well, i did attacked even th10 just to get DE tho. But DE from drill is better. Cheap troops and faster

I'm TH8 (with premmie perimiter defense) and my DE farming is keeping up with my Barbarian King (L8). Right now I'm staying above 1450 trophies, with Level 5 barbs and archers and Level 1 Minions.

I use 30 minions or something, and all Rages. On one raid I will use 1 or none. Gotta be a little picky. BAM is perfect for DE'ing at this trophy range. I got the hang of it a while ago and its great. Sharonsym does more of a Barching thing I think, but I'm perfectly happy as it goes. There are times I don't know what do to with my DE, because I wanted a normal troop upgrade. I usually pick up around 300 - 800 DE a raid. And with BAM going 4 times an hour thats around 2000 DE an hour. Mix it up with getting gold and try not to let your trophies drop. Good luck.

Nice one, i only used BAG up till now, gold and elixir is easy.But DE is another different story. Maybe i should not be that picky, i tend to pick a base with 700+ DE. i should keep raided and the accumulated DE will be enough i think

if you have maxed walls, then you have wasted your time since your walls finished

especially when it comes to DE raid, you will raid TH8/TH9/TH10 guys, therefore there is no loot difference as a TH8 or TH9

raiding DE is waste of time on TH7/TH8 because the advantages of is the ability to raid th6/th7 without loot penalty. you won't find any DE on TH6 guys, and TH7 won't give you enough DE to upgrade your troops / heroes.

therefore just press your upgrade button once you have a builder free.

I'm on the right path again. I wanted to up my war troops and defenses first (Wizards, Giants, AD's mostly), but I did. Walls half way through (skulls offcourse), BK at Lvl8, splash at 5, and teslas at 3. (TH8)

Next stop: minions from 1 to 4, up the splash to max, maybe some tesla action, closing walls, wb's to 5 and then: Push that button.

TH9 sounds great: Archer Queen, 220 troops and a lame X-bow, here I come!

for clan wars, it's never a bad to go premie TH9
you have extra AD, so dragons raid will no longer crush your base easily as you're a TH8

TH8 have very terrible defense for clan wars... well, few wars back ago, my clan mates decent TH8 base was being 3 starred by a TH7 using 10x lv.2 dragons + 1x lv.3 from CC with rage+heal spells. The attacker is very smart to figure out how to destroy all the AD quickly with rage and wipe the rest easily

yep, Brandon's Guide is very good one...
UnitySharp did one as well, it requires some skills and heavier troops but it's very fun to steal DE from those strong guys

it's never harm to go TH8... just max your camps first before you move on

I've been thinking about going to TH10 recently, I've opened the discussion thread here:

for walls, I'm done looting them, I will use the rest of my th9 days to complete my lv.9 walls and probably added few more lavas

well it's depends on the situation in TH10, If the gold loot is still great, then I will keep doing walls, but my priority will be DE.
