You need 32m to max th9 offense (lab, 4 camps, spell factory, level 6 barbs, archers, giants). We are having a maintenance now which means loot will be VERY difficult to find. Even with a fast training BAWG army (Barbs, Archers, Wallbreakers and Giants) I couldn't farm more than 6m elixir in my first few days at th9.

You are unable to raid th7 due to 50% loot penalty and you can't take on th8 because you basically have th8 troops, collector raids will be RARE as it is a maintenance day.

You WILL SUFFER as a th9! You barely have overflowing elixir and dark elixir. You'd better not rush or you will spend 2 months maxing th9 troops (assuming you aren't hammered by those pesky th8s while you contruct/upgrade your xbows).

Lol I find it funny when you people when people feel they "know" what will happen When someone becomes TH 9.

Ive been TH 9 for 10 days as of today. Did not max my TH8 base but was in pretty decent shape with splash and canons maxed. Anyways in that time Ive focused on Elixir and DE as priority and have my last camp upgrading, giants are going, De drill to Lev 4, new De drill is Lev 2 which unless my math is wrong is over 20 mil elixir. Also queen is Lev 5 tomorrow morning so thats a lot of De as well.... Already had enough to buy her when I hit Th9.


Anyways if your committed and skilled enough its no trouble... Just a lot of work I guess. Anyways my IGN is Arom clan Stargate purple shield if people wanna see my progress. As you can see I haven't even had time to build new Tesla lol second xbows is only three days away though yay

Not sharonsyn but I came into TH9 with the 40k. Been 10 days and she will be Lev 5 tomorrow.

Ive been focusing on elixir most of the time but have spent a lot of time looking for DE. My advice is first make sure if your farming for DE and not in crystal that your not using a heavy De army as its a big drain. I'm using BAM with 16-20 minions Lev 4. Once I start getting around 20k De I focus on De and switch to a army with less De drain. Something like 6 wiz, 8 giants, 8 breakers, rest barbs archers and 10 gobs in case. Maybe 5 minions as safety if I need to fly over walls. I'm farming 1600-1800 usually at this point. Only raiding over 1000k avaible. Preferable not in core which is much more common now that CW is here a lot more people have there DE one or two walls in. Go for them not hard attacks unless its 1400+. If I see a 1000k raid and see two pumps are halfway full as well inside base I usually skip it since I need to get all three De locations and get 50% if possible which ca. Be a stretch at times.

I would agree to Arom,

you might me just unlucky because you came to TH9 on days where loot is in the worst situation (during Clan Wars)

When I upgraded to TH9, I find no difference in loot as I'm TH8...
Although I never battle for elixir since, it just come naturally when I farm gold and overflowing
I managed to upgrade lab, sf, all the camps, barb and archers to lv.6 on my first month
then I have no problems too on maxing giants, spells, and all my drills.

I did it on my end of TH8, I timed it right and I got 40K just few hours before the TH9 construction finished.

I go up to 1600-1800, attack exposed / semi exposed storage and drills...
I just use BARCH/BAM to do it
the real challenge is when you have about 30K+ DE in hand because those TH9 guys will come and get 1.5k+ everytime and your chance to defend is close to nothing but hoping for TH snipe.

How do you get 5 mil golds a day? Sub-200 or just normal raids? Do you keep manage on gold 3 when you at th'8? How about builders? Do grab the 4th and 5th are worth it to get for around 30$? Thanks

do more than 30 attacks a day...
If an attack net about 200K, then you will get 6mil / day

I do it on normal farming, I never go sub-200 because you have to play non stop there. I can't do that because I have jobs to do, family to care and friends to hang out with

If you can raid more than 3 millions / day then it's worth it...

I hit th9 late last night on one of my accounts. I didn't have as much pink as I hoped(only 3mil, real life prevented me from raiding....), but had gold and black. I bought my queen, the xbow, lab upgrade, and a bunch of little stuff, and the walls. I wasn't that early (115 skulls, maxed splash, cannons, air, teslas), but not maxed at all.

I was mostly storage raiding th8s and th9s for black, so I have seen no difference, except I have the awesome queen.

I did jump up 6 spots in strength ranking for clan wars....

Anyway, back to the looting....

well there is no difference when you're going to get black because TH8->TH9, your loose is TH7 targets and they don't have drills yet and it's a miracle if you can find th7 with 1K+ DE available loot.
