A TH7/TH8/TH9 Premie Journey ...

yes, that's because I follow the old max everything advice on TH7
I wasted few weeks trying to max TH7 until I realize I've stubbornly wasting my time...

I would jump to TH9 as soon I have max Giant, Archer, Barb, WB to Lv.5
and I have elixir overflowing all of the time.

so, would it matter if 2/3 air def were lvl1 and some point def were lvl6? (guessing no) also, how would u get overflowing elixir? like, constantly raid or its like a bonus and you get it without trying? would minions count if i used bam as my army comp to max? what would you suggest i do during my th upgrade to th9? would walls count in the maxing list? if not, then would lvl7 walls be the minimum wall req. to upgrade before moving on?

I now have my first Air defence going to lvl 5, takes 6 days, atleast one of my builders is busy.
I gonna max splash damage and get my tesla's up a bit.
I got barbs and archers lvl 5 and almost got enough for giants.
But I have never had enough for the expensive upgrades, one time Boosted baracks i got 2.8 mill gold and elixer.
Spend it on walls and De drill..

It's okay,
if you're very active, all you need is to raid people... and I believe Premie TH9 defence is not weaker than decent TH8.

yes, if you farm constantly you will find elixir is very easy to get. I have overflowing elixir since TH7.

no, minion is support troops, any levels will work

yes, red walls can be destroyed by single Lv.6 WB, you should get at least purple walls.

you should attack about 5 times a day, that will get you about 1million, and It should be enough to pay the upgrades...
anyway don't do your walls if you can't upgrade your building, walls is to spend the excess farmed gold. Upgrading building is your priority.

for example you got 2.8 mil gold, you should upgrade your WT

1 storage loot from decent TH8 with full skull walls
1 both collector / storage loot from average TH8
1 collector loot from inactive TH9

purple walls (lv.7) is enough...

you need lv.7 walls, max farming elixir troops, overflowing elixir...

lv.7 walls is to make sure your walls don't get destroyed by single lv.6 WB
max farming elixir troops (Giants, barb, archer, goblin, Ballon), to make sure you can get Lv.6 directly
overflowing elixir, to make sure you can pay the Lv.6 troops upgrade that cost around 6 million / upgrade.

ah...

I'm save when I'm premie because I offer no loot since I dump all my gold into walls
but that changed after I finish my walls, I'm getting farmed everyday because I just sit with full gold waiting for builders to finish their jobs.

but luckily I upgrade to TH8, I'm premie again... that save much my gold because I spend them before they 3 star my base for nothing.
This happen again on last days of my TH8. As before, I upgrade and being a premie TH9 again.

since those days, I never been looted anymore unless once when I upgrade 4 towers at once.
