Why are the lower town hall levels ignored?

The lower town hall levels are fun and important to set up the game. Since the lower levels are ignored and too easy, it makes it hard to improve so once people get to th10, they stop being able to 3 star due to the lack of difficulty of the previous levels. Does anyone know why they are not cared about?

IMO the lower halls are very much progressive. Up to about TH8 you are really just learning the mechanics of the game, how to attack, how to upgrade things, upgrading troops, how spells work and very basic techniques such as basic funnelling. These TH are meant to be very very easy and it is expected that you will be tripled and make your own triples. It is geared specifically to first time players as everyone has to go through that stage and not everyone will make minis or permamax. Up to Th 8 in fact, folks are likely to only spend a few months total at these low TH levels.

From TH9-10 is where more detailed learning takes place. Advanced pathing, troop combinations, beginning phased attacking, beginning base design. Here it starts to challenge folks (although still easy for the permamaxers and those with minis) and starts to hone their skills.

IMO SC should NOT be doing any balancing at lower TH levels especially based on permaxers or those going through it a second time. Balance should only be from a beginner perspective at thise low THs.

OP Defense: Any defense the poster doesn’t like or know how to work around, nullifies their attack or denies them their rightful three star.

They added a mini season pass to the game for lower levels as well as a cc level cap which help with balancing. Yeah, they notice the lower levels.

Adapt, appreciate, and own up to what you have.

It blows my mind that this guy hasn't been banned yet for the number of threads he starts complaining about the lower THs being neglected or unfair or whatever. It's as if he hasn't listened to a single thing that's been said in response to his 800+ posts

Edit: looks like OP finally got what he had coming.

Its not like the difficulty has actually become easier. Progression is merely faster. When th 11 was maxed, th 9 and lower probably got their last meaningful change it was balance tweaks to adjust the difficulty to where they wanted it as they add new ths. Th 10 is the only one that changed since then and its easier than it used to be so difficulty curve is flatter and easier for new th 10s.

Maybe the clan your in is having trouble due to the lack of experience or help, in or out of the clan. My clan has received help from top members and each war we expect the th 10s to be able to triple nearly all th 10s themselves and these are for people new to th 10 on their first time through.

I dont know if Darian has ever directly answered your statement in a past thread but my guess its a mix of factors. The game is about progression so building on lower ths and keeping them relevant would be harmful for a push to progress. I also imagine the data they get shows a 3* rate they are currently happy with at these ths so no adjustments are seen as necessary. Theres probably others too but these are the 2 largest I came up with.

Maybe you should PM all of those in the link that are opposed to the CC change and let them know that. They apparently don't agree with you.

Ok. But what about changes to defence levels? There was only change to spells as far as I'm aware for every single town hall level.

Even th9-th10 is too easy. Let's ignore th8 and below. Th10 has siege machines (in CCs) so the bases can't handle the offensive power. th9 has witch slap and people are just getting overwhelmed with witches. I wish th10 could at least have a level 8 tesla buff from 99 damage to 100 damage.

It kinda has gotten easier (a few scenarios). The town hall levels that are in the middle of the number line are where it's gotten easier. The ones that are too easy are not going to get easier. The ones that are just right are going to get easier. Everything is just getting easier and easier. Even th13 has gotten slightly easier (because of th14). My clan is medium experienced but a mixed bag in general.

    That's a shame

They're already getting shut down. Why say shut down the forums when it's already happening?
