Transitioning out of the forums - Some directions.

Open for discussion and reference, related to the closing announcement and the moving of contents to:

If you’d like to follow Clash of Clans on our other social media platforms, please follow and subscribe to the following channels:
    Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/ClashOfClans/
    Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ClashofClans
    Twitter: https://twitter.com/ClashofClans
    Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/clashofclans/
    YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialClashOfClans

To follow up on anything that’s happening in Hay Day, please follow & subscribe to the following social media platforms:
    Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/HayDay/
    Facebook: https://facebook.com/haydayofficial
    Twitter: https://twitter.com/hayday
    Instagram: https://instagram.com/hayday
    YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/hayday
    Discord: https://discord.gg/F7Bmubq
How will the following subjects be handled on these alternative platforms, and on which (will there be only one or multiple destination for):

    1- Bugs and Problems,
2- Ideas and Feature Requests, or Suggestion Forum, incl QOL
3- Content Creation (?) incl API,

I would prefer to hear from SC what their current intent is, or where do they ‘officially’ see these areas move to, specifically, as the forum was ‘unique’ in these aspects. For example, ‘Announcement’ had already migrated to SC blogs (and other ‘one-way’ media), and (somehow) discussions are expected to occur in Discord or Reddit.

If I missed an area of concern, please comment and I will add.
I will of course also report here any indication given, so forum members can find their way after the forum closes.

We could discuss here, but of course the best would be to be informed in each sub (COC and HD).

    1. Supercell Support website, it's time for Support to step up.
    2. From Contact us,it's possible to share your ideas directly with Support (and the team)
    3. it's not on forum we find out newest video of tubers. As for API, an important skill is to find information, liek this thread: https://forum.supercell.com/showthre...unkies-Discord

    1. I know many newcomers here (in the bugs subs) didn’t read the stickies, or existing reports, yet there are/were resources available which are not covered elsewhere... just asking for guidance if these will be relocated elsewhere.
    2. Not sure how nicely to comment on that proposal since support would actually send people here to suggest new ideas LOL
    3. Thanks for that link, actually a sticky in that sub. In case I look for something...

I am thinking of how to move some content to another medium, and tbh dont see any of that in reddit. Only place I see is the fan-made forum from chile.

I've been here since Support was simply a few FAQ hardcoded into the game, then Zendesk, HelpShift and now an entire website, and in multiple languages (!!!). Lots of alternative for people to seek help at the moment.

"Paradoxalement", they need to message Support for Support to realize what they are lacking then maybe improved.

For IFR, sometimes I really wonder if people understand that not because they post here that the idea will be implemented. After all these years, hard to see innovative ideas anymore.

QoL and other stuff: wait and see. CM must find a way to get players ideas, one way or another. At the very least, what players want is to be read by CM, not by the peers.

We look at other platform in our own POV, we didn't consider which tools are there to get all the replies, sort, search, filter through uninteresting answer.

No news about any other fan-run forum for Clash?

Don’t mean to be in concurrence with known forum, but could suit another group of clashers, be it a private forum (on invitation only) to keep moderating stress free, or news sharing or whatever else…?

Is there even any need for it?

Indeed, shortly after the closure announcement of the Supercell forums, two player-run unofficial forums were created to fill the void. It's a remarkable achievement by Chileppeper and Team Just Hay Day to create something in place for forumites to land before the anticipated June 1st deadline which we now know is June 30th as confirmed by Darian recently.

As of today, one unofficial forum has 26 members while the other has 181 members. Given the low number of members in the Supercell Unofficial Forum compared to the Just Hay Day forum, do Clashers prefer the official Clash channels such as the CoC Reddit and Twitter?

Darian posted that after the Supercell forums officially closes in August 2021, he'll shift his "...daily forum activity to reddit with regards to discussions with the community."

Dedicating "The Soft Goodbye" to the Supercell forums and the people who made it an awesome community, the brightest star in the evening sky.

1, and 2 can be submitted in the subreddit, but at the moment bugs and ideas are under the same flair/tag called Game feedback. I am under the assumption that some of the team/developers besides Darian actively check the sub for player feedback.

I don't check the facebook and twitter social media, so I am unaware how stuff there goes. I have only read here that facebook comments are usually repetitive "bring back global" etc. So perhaps it isn't one good option.
