Who likes to zap DE?

The general connotation of zapping is negative.

We all like to zap DE, because it's the easy way to get it and requires no skill or spine. However, most of us like to play the fair way and get resources using troops. Planning a battle and training troops is much more fun than dropping a few lightning spells to get a few hundred dark elixir.

When you look at statistics, you'll always get more DE by going in with ground troops than you will by zapping. Troops will completely destroy whereas a lightning spell only takes part of the damage, and thus the resources.

I've zapped before. Once or twice, but it's boring and cowardly. (This is coming from someone who has zapped, remember). I soon found myself disappointed and bored, because I missed the fun of a good fight.

BOTTOM LINE:

Everyone likes to zap. It's an easy and assured way to get DE.

Most people like a good fight. Lots of people don't zap because it's cowardly and boring, as opposed to a good fight with actual troops. (For those of you who have become so obsessed with zapping that you've forgotten what troops are, you train them in the barracks and they take up space in your army camps. (I hope no one here has forgotten...))

I used to zap. I don't anymore. (Actually, if someone zaps me, I'll zap them back before deploying troops.)

Count me out. Ive never zapped, maybe because i was a th9 when dark elixir was introduced to the game, so i always got it using my troops. And i didnt zap DE not because its not fair or cheap, ive never done it because its a very bad strategy

Whats better, using 3 zaps to get 1k DE (something you can get very easily at th10) or using 3 healing spells to raid 300k gold?

Farming DE is easy at th9 and 10, but farming gold isnt, and its the opposite at th8 and below, so why would you care for taking little DE instead of gold

I do! But Unity doesn't allow Or else i'd gem my lightning strikes 1000 times in a row to make people mad and to fill my storage by paying 10k worth of lightnings even though full storage is 5k gems.)

wait a alli tells you you can't zap de lol if your a highly upgraded th 10 in gold 3 silver ect you deserve to have your de storage zapped cause you farm smaller players who have no chance on you at all just my opinion

I typically dont start searching specifically to zap de, but i usually carry 2 lightnings and a rage. Lightning is for cc troops. If i come up to a th on the outside that i can snipe and 3000 available de I have no problem zapping it for an easy 1000 de and some cups.

TBH if you are getting zapped that means you are chilling too low of a cup level. Dont say "You're not playing the game right if you zap DE." Well guess what, youre not playing the game right with your maxed out th10 sitting at 1500 trophies. You high levels spend youre days demolishing th 7/8 for easy loot and all they can do is steal a few hundred DE from you in return.

Also, people who zap arent bad at the game, they just haven't been playing or spending as much as you so they are lower th levels. You cant expect somebody with lvl 4 troops to demolish youre 500 dollar base

Been zapping since th7, and wanted King before I got drills. 1.7mil DE stolen and counting Probably 1/2 of that zapped at least.
