lol made a thread on a way to counter it earlier. its annoying and takes no skill. they need to reduce the effect of lightning on resources as its not fair. btw if u touch my de u will be 3 starred :)

Honestly, all they need to do is reduce the damage Lightning does on resources. Goblins do 2x damage to resources, why can't lightning do 10% (or something like that)?

Sorry for a separate post but anyways, I also destroyed max lvl full DE drills. Those give you a LOT. And I also agree, I do lose a lot of DE to TH9s. But then again, I'm still getting my ♥♥♥♥ sorted out on my base and need to upgrade my defenses more lol.

You can, it just takes a month to do it.
And then there's the other 4 lvls.... Another 4 months... And did I mention the costs of upgrading minions and hogs?
You see where I'm going? At TH8 it's easier because you have the drills.
At TH7, it's either zap or gem for DE.

It doesn't take months at all. Like I said it took 2 days to get my bk. also there is only 1 drill at th8 and it only goes to level 3. Zap or gem ....? I did it without doing either and it wasn't that hard at all. Maybe u should try just farming the de.

Because then, it would be insanely hard to get your bk at TH7, and might as well get it at TH8, I only have 3k de and that is from what I get from like 80 available de (all I can get from someone worth attacking) and it takes forever. If they did, they might as well make it so you unlock de at TH8.

Insanely hard? Seriously - Try climbing trophies and attack bases with decent DE using a heavy giant army.
It's easy if you put your mind to it.

So climb trophies to where most people can easily ward off a TH7's measly level 4 troops, or at least de worth getting to? Not saying I zap, it will just take forever to get a BK if I don't zap. Most people with an ok amount of de are TH9 and up. Please, tell me how it is easy for a TH7, to get to the de of a TH9-10.

While I do believe it was a mistake for TH7 not to get a lvl 1 drill, it's still not that hard to scrounge up 10k. You simply climb trophies. While it may be out of your comfort zone, if your willing to climb a bit, you'll get it in no time.
