Who likes to zap DE?

Guys, really, if you're TH8 or TH7, the only way to REALLY earn Dark Elixir is by zapping. At TH7 you don't even get a drill, and TH8 only allows you to upgrade to petty little Level 3. Most TH8s and TH7s are not worth attacking, because they only have a small amount of dark elixir. Sure, you come across the occasional TH8 with full lvl 3 or 4 storages, and TH8 bases are pretty easy to destroy with TH8 troops. BUT where the most Dark elixir is is at the TH9 and TH10 farmers. NO WAY IN HELL am I gonna get to the center of well developed TH9 and 10 bases that have MAX SPLASH, well developed walls, Centralized CC etc. with a non-trophy push army of TH8 troops. And plus, Th9+ can have level 6 drills, which give a lot of dark elixir. I can see both sides of the story, but please, TH7 and TH8 players have to survive too.

Haha, hey bud! Is that how you got your L5 BK at TH7? I disagree with getting it at TH8, it's been fine for me so far. Only thing is I lose it like crazy to TH9's.

These de zapping threads always seem to have so many responses, but very little substance. If you think it should be changed, say how it should be changed! Once upon a time SC did listen to us when the DE tank hp was raised to yield less to lightning. Now that 'fix' has been reversed, maybe there is a simple fix, maybe there isn't. I think this tactic will and should always be allowed in the game, but should yield a reasonable amount. I liked the way we had it previous to the loot system update, when 4x lightning got the attacker 1k de. I hope we can get back to that middle ground, even if it means making the storage hp higher yet again.

You ou couldn't be more wrong my friend both town halls 7 and 8 have the army power to take down each other which usually offers around 100-700 in my case and can take down also townhall 9s with weaker bases.

So for a TH10 to roll over a TH8 based is considered a respectable player, while a TH8 zapping a TH10 with disco IT is considered not respectable?

Zappers are terrible at farming DE - If they actually want to be 'decent' at it then they can raid properly.

You are terrible at understanding the game. Zapping is legitimate way as designed by SC and it is perfectly "decent" and "proper".

Those who do zap, did you do it before when it didnt get you as much de? Or has the increased loot cap made this more attractive? I get thorred roughly the same amount now as i did in the past, but I would assume some do it more frequently now since it can gain you considerably more. Would you still drop 4 on a th9 with 2500 available if you could get only 1k in return?
