So I started playing Hay Day yesterday, and I was wondering, what's a good way to earn money/get started early on? I'm only level 7, so I'm not too familiar with what I should really be planting, and what I should be focusing on. Is it a good idea to base the farmland around one crop and mass produce that?
Any tips or advice would be helpful, thanks

At level 7 I would recommend mass producing crops and selling them to raise as much money as possible. Wish I hadn't wasted so much in the early days!

I'm gonna tell you this right now:
Be VERY VERY cautious not to accidentally hit the buttons that will expend diamonds
I've personally lost over 100 diamonds because of stuff like this.
Also, NEVER buy the daily deal that's in the catalog, it's always cheaper to hire Tom if you're short on tools.
Do t know if it's just me, but wheating is addictive. Trying to give it a rest but it's not really working!

Good idea to add friends too if you haven't already. They will be happy to buy from your RSS (road side shop) and in time help you with your boat orders. You can advertise in the DD of course but I find having friends a great help in helping you to enjoy and to level up in the game.
There are some great people on this forum too who will guide you throughout your game with helpful advice and tips.
Level 68 Achievements. 101/108
If you drain all your swamps you will get a plague of frogs unless you put in ponds. If you cut down your original trees you will get foxes in larger numbers. If you leave some land unexpanded that seems to help keep down the numbers of foxes.
So don't drain everything and don't clear fell!
