I guess most people call their armies “gobowi” or “electros” or something , but now I am TH14 and using older armies for raiding, I forgot what CC troops and spells I need to support these, so I am using the name for that purpose ...
The field is 16 characters long and even with the font an army of 16 X’s there is quite a bit of spare space to the army size. I appreciate army name (VARCHAR) may be slightly more expensive on database storage than troops (INT), but is there any chance this field size can be increased to give greater flexibility?
I know I can use letters , but some spells like heal and haste begin with the same letter

I have the same annoyance/problem as you have.
Something that might improve the situation (at least for me it would already help a lot) were if we could store the CC in the army compostion itself.
