    CC Troop limit for defense only

    It really takes away from leveling up your clan to earn the troop upgrade perk when your troops go down multiple levels depending on who you donate to. It makes total sense to keep maxed out troops from being in a CC lvl 1 etc, on defense, but not only do the troops cost more to train at a high level but when they get downgraded multiple levels to go into a lower CC, it really takes away a lot of the enjoyment too from lower level bases to get some high level troops every now and again to help them level up their base

    They don't have to rely totally on the cc now. They can use their own army and CC troops as a support to level their base up. And the cost to train troop is seriously nothing that one should be worried about.

    There should be no possibility whatsoever that they might even think about the possibility of considering this.

    Defensive and offensive CC capabilities should always be the same.

    The upgrade perk is honestly more useful now if you sit down and think about it. Now each th can usually donate the limit to an equal th which is pretty useful in a mixed th clan.

    If the couple 10 or 100s of extra resources are so important to you, then you're probably not playing enough on the account and using it only for tons of donating. To the average player, this cost barely matters.

    Really by th 10 you're nearly at maxed troops since you get max th 12 and th 1-9 are no where near as long as they used to be. Most new players will do just fine with lower levels since they won't be attacking high level troops anymore. Its also probably better they can't use high levels and become dependent on them. If the new players stay dependent on using op cc troops they won't have the skills to defeat bases when the cc is no op in the mid and late ths.

    But they're not the same today... Ice Golems have had a weaker freeze effect when defending since March 2020.

    I don't know if the idea to use the level cap only on defense would get implemented or not, but I wouldn't categorize it as beyond any possibility.
