That's crazy. I think I've gotten one nail the past two days (and I've played several hours).
My silo is 600 and that is big enough for me now. As soon as I get the crops that are after potatoes I will need a bigger silo. As for my barn I am going for the most storage I can get but tape will the death of my barn. LOL. My barn is 700 and I can't even keep 10 of everything in it. I like to have 10 of everything so I can help neighbors with their boats.
Just joined back after about 2 yrs.
Can't wait to get back into the game.
My silo is 950 and my barn is 925. I'm always looking to continue expanding them.
I get tons of nails and bolts, many tapes and panels and very few planks and screws.
If any of you folks who are overrun with bolts want to help out a poor soul whose barn is at 375 slots...

I stopped my silo at 1400 until the last update and then with the added produce I upped it to 1600. Barn?? I never stopped, though truly I was good at 3500. Everyone's needs are different however so there is no "right answer".
I just keep expanding, never stop. I buy, buy, buy!!!Currently both just shy of 2,000.

same. it's just bolts this and nails that. (sometimes screws too) and I haven't harvested or gotten a plank or board from my own farm since probably back in late November to early December -.-
