No war clan league for my clan 😔

We finish a war in the midnigth. Now in the mornig i start the war but i dont see the golden button. No war clan for me in this month? Now he have 7d 10h remaining

Sign up for CWL is 2 days.
It is technically possible to start a war right before sign up starts and finish just before the sign up period ends. In that case you must be on top of the button to start CWL search immediately again.

Lessen for next time: don’t start a regular war so close before the CWL sign up starts and wait a few hours.
As you know CWL sign up always starts the 1st of the month.

I started CWL search today 40 min before end of search time. League started for me the very last minute. If one clicks the war button, one can see exactly how much time is left to join the league, with no need to start search. What I don’t know yet, if one tries to join the very minute and there is no set-up for teams before time runs out, are you just kicked off with a note ’time out’ or sth?

I started 9 minutes before cutoff and was placed last minute.

If you sign up for CWL you will always be matched. Even if you sign up at the last minute there are still enough clans that searched around that time for you to find a match, and as long as you signed up if necessary the matchmaker will do whatever it takes to get you into CWL.

I would not risk a ‘last minute’ sign up. I believe there a thread about war attackers trying such tactics with a last minute war attack and the game failed to allow it. Granted, a war timer and a search timer are not exactly the same, I would trust it enough to gamble on missing a CWL. But that’s me.

Last min matches you’ll get a few groups with 6 clans, but I’m keen to know if there’s an odd numbers left, will there be a group with an odd number with a clan each round having a bye?

From what others have said no one gets demoted if not running a full cwl match and if you only have 6 then you only get 6 wars. I believe there is a thread in clan wars from this cwl that only has 5 clans.
