Yes, okay. But what about profile picture. Profile picture and avatar are two different things on the forum.

The point about avatars & gifs is that they are present every time somebody opens a page with any posts of yours on it. While profile pics are only seen when somebody visits your profile.

There was a time when gifs were banned in posts and profile pics as well, but that was changed 2-3 years ago.
