Friendly Challenge - Can’t Change Base

Just tried to friendly challenge a clan mate. I selected a different layout from the options, it had no cool down. I could see the thumbnail that it was the base I had selected. I pressed Start and watched the replay, only to see they were attacking my regular home base. I did the challenge again and the same thing happened. Bug?

I think I have seen this before, might have even happened to me.
From memory, check ur special obstacles. Might have been something to do with them...they aren't placed correctly on those layouts. So fc reverts to another layout

Interesting. I hadn’t placed them at all on that layout. I challenged a third time and it finally worked. Weird.
