Need advice - TH7 (to TH8 or not to TH8)

dude... you should not farm that fast, its just waste of your previous effort

what is the point you farms so fast? in the end you will sit all day like this?
just making donations for clanmates while wait and watch your 250K robbed by group of green archers,
I believe this is soo boring and kill the fun of the game eh?

if you decide to max, then my advice is when you're on TH8... slow down and don't farm too much...
TH8 will have months of defence to do, but the walls is still as cheap as TH7 (I max them all 225 skull walls in just in 20 days)
You'll end up worse than this because you have to sit longer... (for another 6 months) like this on TH8

I respectfully disagree with this. If you max walls early it just makes stuff easier to save for later. In addition, if you get into the max walls ASAP mindset, you'd get a ton more walls done at th9 than someone who didn't prioritize walls much. Lastly, you mentioned that you'd just get rolled for 250k/250k all the time. Defenses are cheap (at th7) so do you really need max gold all the time? You're just helping others out once you max walls because you tend to max gold more quickly.

when I'm sitting on with full gold on TH7 for a months maxing up my splash damage, that's the worst time I've had in this game. I can't raid anyone because already have full storages and can't spend those gold into anything...
That's worst than when I'm just a premie TH7 with black/yellow walls and lv.1 wizard towers, I have lot of fun raiding everytime I can.

This happen too on TH8 when I've done all my walls...

Buy another builder and upgrade AD and upgrade your TH! Good Luck!

Why not just focus your attentions on raiding Dark Elixir instead then? Imo more interesting and fun.

Thats what I am doing now. Just raiding DE . And yes, I don't zap, using rage and breaking in is far more exciting !

Farming DE is a bit hard with lvl.4 troops... The DE you'll get isn't much either... TH6 have no DE, you can't expect much from TH7, TH8 that have 1K+ is too strong for lvl.4 troops.
You can get this jobs done much more easier with lv.5 troops

I dunno what's the point of staying on TH7 maxing everything...
Like have been discussed on my thread, the main arguments to stay is because
1. you will loose 50K more, stronger opponents will overpowered you
2. you will farm less because TH6 will now have loot penalty

well, that all ain't true... I've proved those arguments was big fail... When I hit TH8, It's actually the opposite
1. actually you will loose less, it's because you won't sit with full gold anymore... on TH7 I loose 250K everytime because I always have full gold, but when I'm on TH8 I just loose 1K from TH snipers... The big guys won't bother to touch my base because my storages is almost empty.
2. actually you will farm much more on TH8 than TH7 ...
yes, you will loose the ability to farm TH6 because of loot penalty, but it's traded with something better... you have lv.5 troops to farm stronger guys.
you loose the ability to raid 200K TH6, but you gain the ability to raid 300K+ from TH8+ because of the stronger troops..

If I hadn't upgraded TH8 early a months ago, I'm probably just a maxed TH now... with lvl.4 troops ...
but now I'm TH8 with full skull walls, maxed mortars, almost maxed WT and the best is my lvl.5 farming troops... I will also got my AQ in next 2 day

so tell me which is better... a maxed TH7... or this ?

A maxed TH7 is better. You're just going to get rolled by TH10 Hoggers at TH9, your defenses have between 3-5 levels to max them. Walls don't stop ballinions or hogs, not such a smart move.

max it out before you go to thlvl8 thats the best idea... and re design it.. whatch my village and try to copy it.. im not maxed out but the design is awesome.. check it out ... im razor leader of HIGH ON MILK clan try to visit

I offer you one question-- do you want to max now and get more loot per attack, or max later and get less loot per attack?

A maxed TH7 is better. You're just going to get rolled by TH10 Hoggers at TH9, your defenses have between 3-5 levels to max them. Walls don't stop ballinions or hogs, not such a smart move.

I've been get rolled twice a day by TH9 hoggers / baloonions because of my DE. Each time my shield runs out they always get away with my 275K gold and almost 2K DE...

by the time I'm on TH9, I will just loose 1K gold and no DE loss haha...
