Does anyone know why when a super wizard attacks a wall it does not chain to other wall pieces? They are within range, so shouldn’t super wiz hit a few walls at once?

What difference does chaining and not chaining makes.
Similar question: Why don’t cannon carts attack the nearest wall during “last stand” if there are no other targets?
I don’t know the official answer, but I’m sure it has something to do with their targeting. Ranged troops generally don’t target walls unless it’s necessary to destroy one to reach a structure.
I see. We are already at the point where the swiz must first break a wall to get to a structure, and it's not chaining. I don't have an answer, but I'll see if I can recreate that scenario on try mode for further insight.
Edit: I was able to test this in try mode, and yes, a swiz attack on a wall piece doesn’t chain. Probably programmed not to chain to walls after hitting its actual target, or it might lead to wonky chain attack fails.

If they make it Super Wiz chain lighting to walls, then it would mean normal attack will chain to walls too if there are any within range. Not sure if it is possible from game code point of view to segregate attack to walls and attack to buildings and which one will impact to chain lighting to walls. I am guessing it will be nightmare from game code perspective.
