    Trap upgrades

Hi, I'm a fully maxed th9 except for traps. How important are these trap upgrades? My current trap levels

    Bomb: 3
    Giant bomb: 3
    Air bomb: 3
    Seeking air mine: 1

I'm wondering if I should max out these traps, especially seeking air mines. Are they really useful?

    Thanks

Maybe seeking air mines, but other than that, the other traps aren't really worthwhile. Congrats on maxing TH9, and welcome to the forums! 😃

Higher lvs traps are always useful, as every damage counts. Since you have maxed TH9 you should have plenty of builder time before you go to TH10 and traps are cheap and quick to upgrade so why not?

    My thoughts

    1) Bombs - why not? Fully upgraded a pair can actually do something

    2) Air Bomb - Balloonions are pretty common. While minions are KO'ed at any level, balloons take serious damage from these when fully upgraded. Since that both a tactic for farming and trophy hunting - it gets a yes vote from me

    3) Big Bomb - This one is harder for me. The increase in rearming is really miniscule (2,500 X 4 = 10,000) and fully upgraded these babies can do some serious damage. But standard tier 1 troops won't survive any level of a big bomb and they aren't critical against giants. A pair of these can 1 shot a horde of hogs, which is a fairly big deal. I'd say you might as well max them before going TH10.

    4) Seeking Air Mine - These puppies will KO Balloons and Healers at level one. Again, the rearm cost increase is really miniscule but unlike the big bomb this will only be important against dragons. In the current environment the cost of upgrading for their extra power may not be worth the time/cost.

However, even though individually these costs aren't major when upgraded they do add up. If you plan to slum around and pick on players in Gold - it might cost more in the long run.

Yeah all of them are important if youre maxing everything before upgrading the TH you should max them

The least useful specially if youre not at a high league is the seeking air mine

People didnt mention but giant bomb gets an extra 0.5 radius at level 4 which is a huge improvement

4 air bombs near a disco inferno+wiz tower kills every baloon in a blink of an eye

I'm about the same boat as you and I plan to max all traps other than seeking air mines. Those will come after max walls.

A pair of maxed giant bombs one hits max level hogs... This is very useful for many anti hog base designs.

The higher you plan to go in cups the more valuable they will be.

bombs are ussless alone unless u have a pair of them which makes a big difference

anyway if u got the time do them and do some walls has well lvl 3 giant bombs cost 750k gold which is riduculious but deffently worth it trashes hogs so easly
