    Taking a break

I always thought it would take a LOT to get me so fed up with some of Hay Day's little peculiarities that I'd need to step back, but I'm there. I've lost two sets of a LOT of diamonds in the last three days, and I just can't anymore. Lost 19 accidentally speeding up a cacao tree while trying to harvest another one, and just now lost 16 speeding up a Cherry while trying to harvest a coffee plant next to it.

i did file a report, but of course haven't heard anything. I'm sure they very busy and all, but we filed one for my daughter weeks ago and never heard anything beyond the auto-generated reply.

maybe I'll cool off in a day or so, but since I'm normally such an active player, I wanted to let my friends here know why my farm may be dormant. Sigh.

Sorry to hear it! I lost a whopping 50 in one fail swoop and now I have a snowglobe...there is enough snow outside for me!! I understand that if this game is giving you more grief than joy, you should drop it! In the event that you stay or return, ( and it may be wildly presumptuous to assume you need any of my measly EMs or saws) I would love to give you a gift to brighten your day! PM/GC

It is absolutely necessary for me to find it somewhere." -O. Wilde

Something that has helped me with this problem, is using a stylus rather than my finger. It makes me much more accurate. Hope you come back to HayDay!

Sad you are giving up the game especially for the reason you have given.
incidentally your diamonds were not lost, you didn't lose them but rather you used them, although it wasn't intentional.
I can't see SC reimbursing you the diamonds as it was you who used them or lost them if you prefer.

I used up many a diamond until I got a stylus, and was much more careful how I played the game, for three months now I haven't accidentally used up any of my diamonds, neither have I purchased any diamonds but I gain at least 30 diamonds a week sometimes more!

I ask you to be a little patient as you can easily overcome the difficulty you have with the diamond issue as I have. The games developers are working on a diamond confirmation button and this takes time.

Its a great game as you know and it would be a shame if you gave it up even for a while because of the diamond issue.
Let's hope you stick with the game, if not I hope you come back in the not too distant future.

I understand, because it's frustrating to lose diamonds. I lost some on speeding up a cocoa tree and a sheep awhile back. But I agree about using a stylus. I love using mine and it bugs me now if I have to use my finger, haha.

Hope to see you back farming soon!

I lost at least 250 diamonds in past year just like this - hitting something unintentionally. Yes, it's incredibly frustrating, but I try to get over it quick and move on. Game does reward with a lot of diamonds just during play. I've purchased a lot, but get a ton free as well.

it's really infuriating to me that SuperCell would blatantly set their game up so mistakes like this would happen so they could get more players to purchase diamonds. And they know that most people will keep playing so they take advantage of us. It makes me sick.
