I agree, Wall 10 is very intimidating, but it's not good as a base with wall 8 and max everything. Good GoWiWi will tears everything apart either way.

Upgrading walls past level 7 is nearly useless, doing level 10s will leave you with idle builders for months and you will fall far behind, not to mention most attacks are from Hogs or Air troops up to about 3000, not worth it big mistake if you do them

IMO level 9 walls are scarier so I won't bother farming them

What do you think freeze spell is for? Even top global players use baloonions and hogs check their bases, ofc most of them use gowiwi, not even gowipe is used anymore. Baloonions and hogs are popular around 3k

most people at 3k+ use single target infernos

Then you should know defense barely leave a mark on maxed golems,
That is what walls are for to slow them down for your defense to put more dps on them.

Sometimes you have to explain the basics again when your in over you head
To bring you back down to reality. Ya know? it's 101 clash all over again.

I will say it again, I'm not saying walls are more important or useless
Nor should you not upgrade your defense to work on walls, Just don't neglect your walls buddy.
