What are the forum events, have there been any?

There is a section in the forum regarding events and I was wondering about them.

Are you referring to Forum Games in the off topic subforum?

On the dashboard where it says new posts, there is an events option on the far right.

To my knowledge that feature hasn't been used before. They've done forum events before, most notably Forum Fridays last year for a few months, but that just involved Darian starting a post in the General subforum and everyone who wanted to participate will respond to the thread.

TBH, I hadn't even noticed that link.

Looking it up, it appears to be for Calendar events, if we have it set up to display them. This can be things such as birthdays, public holidays, and similar. It can also include "admin defined" holidays - which could be things like particular game anniversaries.

But we haven't set it up, and I think are unlikely to do so now (not sure the mods would have the power to do so).
