drop trophies and try to attack more TH7s. As a big bad TH8 you need to bully TH7s. When I was a TH8 I would always take advantage of TH7 bases and I didnt even feel bad about it....

Hi Mate, I am 3/4 TH 8 and had same problem as you. Below points might help

1. Lower your trophy to 1200-1350
2. Put your Townhall outside so they can sniper

After taking some of your advice, I have been able to get enough loot to upgrade my Archers. Plus I put my Town Hall outside and I was hit last night by 5 barbs, got a shield and lost only 1000 of each and this morning got hit again by an Archer Queen and they took only 500 of each. Only lost 10 trophies all together.

I feel so much better after talking with you guys.

I will carry on and watch some of those Daddy videos as well as change my base design.

I believe I should be able to miniball that base (Balloonions) and take two of your elixir storages, the dark elixir storage and at least two of your gold storages. With my TH8 troops, that is. (Balloons lvl 5, Miniions lvl 3, Rage lvl 4)
I'd go in from the bottom with 28 balloons, a dragon and a balloon from the castle, 2 rage spells and then send in as many of my 30 minions as I need. I could not three-star it or take all three elixir storages though.
