I am not interested in the hype, just what happens; when it happens.

The last few updates have overall been disappointing in my opinion, particularly given there has been no new in game functionality for a while now.

Just new levels on things, OP Discos and a loot change where the jury is still out on whether it has helped.

Over the last one year, there has been two major content changes of the game (almost)
- Dark troops were introduced in March
- TH10 was released in May

Do we expect the same cycle this year too ?

I hope not, hopefully there's more big updates. You left out dark elixir and hero btw

What's going on? The hype of the forums seems to be gone. It's getting towards late January now so wouldn't mind a few sneak peaks at some stage soon if possible. Hopfully we won't be disappointed.

The only thing I want from the next update is for them to fix the awful clan search function so I can get back to my old clan as it doesnt come up in the search!!!!!

Since October I have feared updates more than happily anticipate them.

People expect too much from updates so when they come out ya'll complain and be unhappy.

It's been 46 days. They are normally 28-42 days apart (4-6 weeks). Check my math, I'm tired :P.

Steve already said they were dealing with a nasty bout of influenza in the office, as well as all the holiday craziness. Also they appear to be working on something 'big', hence the delay.

If you ask me they should stop with the sneak peeks by the way. Just release it as soon as it's ready, let the inevitable blowback follow afterwards. The sneak peak threads are usually filled with mindless spam anyway.

Updates always disappoint me. I always expect something game changing after updates. I like to tell myself, "Oh it's gonna be THIS update!" but nope. Nothing interesting. By now, I don't really even care.
