Well well it was because of super wizard og troop like golem came back into the meta.
It is because of super minion,inferno dragon and head hunter there was a way to counter queen walk and charges.
It is because of super troops such as sneaky goblins and super barbarian farming at higher town halls where the cost of upgrade rises exponentially was tackled.So the great grind won't be as scary as you are describing it to be.
Also it was not super troops which put OG troops out of meta.
Super troops also brought variety to the meta and gave more attacking options ,created new strategies. A stale meta is never a good sign for a strategy game.
Clash royale is on brink of death because of its stale meta and lack of attacking options.
Also if super troops was a mistake just don't use it.

Many players are still using hybrid in current meta and still it is popular among pushers and tournament players.Hybrid users usually find a way of dealing with the cc combination as mentioned by you by practice,they don't require any kind of good luck.Also if u are having problems doing qc against such combination,try dragons,they will kill the hhs on there own and u will just need to drop poison on sm.

brought golems back into the meta? really? there is no meta, there was a strat using an OP supertroop that blasted it’s way thru using a spam style attack, you had the same thing with the 10/10/10 “meta”
there have been a multitude of ideas that have been put forth on the forums on how to counter certain things, like the qw, some of which were applied, like the reduction of value to heros, they stopped tweeking because it is hugely difficult and looked for an easy way out and brought in some gimmicky troops that quite frankly weren’t needed, they could’ve adjusted some of the regular troops/defences and come up with other ways to make the game flavourful once the game was balanced to a point of desire
and super troops brought farming strats back? that’s silly as well, the game is easily farmed without the use of any super troops, I can farm at 13 using barch if I so desire, farming is a matter of doing as many hits in a day at a level that is easy enough to bring in max loot, I can drop to Crystal and sit there until the cows come home and my base is maxed, almost zero skill to farm, so grinding is not scary at all, just boring actually
there was no reason to introduce a gimmicky troop ensemble like the super troops, other than to give max players something to use their DE on and have a novelty troop to play around with
you compare the game to CR, how is that game doing btw? one of the reasons CR did so crappy is because it was overwhelmed with different troop cards, bringing the like to CoC will do the same thing
you want diversity? then start making regular troops viable without the use of the super troops
It does not matter how many swb is brought , the fact is u can only boost 2 stroops.
Ask yourself do you want to see comp like sarch + sgiant? It is actually pretty strong but the swb is too op so i cant give it up

... super wb is so impt in aq charge for the good players. Trust me, that is why every player boost swb. the average ones will just break one wall, the better ones will do multi WB. I think a slight -5% nerf to their hp would be nice.
the +2% hp boost to the sarch is totally meaningless.. common, use look at the numbers, the extra shot does not matter unless it is scatter. mortar, gb, th death
