Maxed TH8 but lab isn’t. Should I go TH9?

Hey, I was wondering whether I should go TH9. My storages and treasury are beginning to max out and all my builders are free.

I calculated that it would take me roughly 40 days to max out my lab without any potions and/or books! Please someone give me advice, thanks.

The upgrades that aren’t done yet are barbarians (Level 4), archers (Level 4), giants (Level 4), goblins (Level 3), healers (Level 1), heal spell (Level 4), rage spell (Level 3), poison (Level 1), earthquake (Level 1) and minions (Level 2).

I’ve started to use more ground based troops such as hogs, pekkas, valks etc so I will be upgrading Rage and Heal.

Yes go to TH9.

if I remember tight TH9 is one of the only TH where total builder time is longer than total lab time.

If it were I, I'd do barbs, archers, and poison b4 going to 9...

When u use a heros ability, the troops spawned are the level of what they r in ur lab. And posion is just very useful.

Yes, move on. If you ever have builders just sitting having nothing able to do, move on. During that time of you upgrading your townhall, get the rage and heal done. Having builders with nothing to do is just going to slow you down in the long run.

Yes go on. I upgrade my th as soon as I have one kind of resource which I can't use anymore. For a good balance I use clashtrack.com, there you can see how much time buildings, heroes and lab needs to max and so you know where you should put in the items and gems.

Yes upgrade. Just a FYI the barb/arch deployed from king/queen are the same level as your own.

NNNNOOOOOOOOOO. Do NOT-I Repeat- Do NOT go to town hall 9 if your lab isnt fully upgraded.

I made that mistake and was stuck at 9 for 4 years.

some wiggle room to consider is, id say its ok to go to 9 if : all walls are at LEAST level 7, Collectors are at LEAST level 9, King is at LEAST level 8, and 90% of defenses are maxed.

im sorry if this post seems harsh, but id hate to see others go through the same mistake i did-kinda like if a parent were to discover there children engaging in activities said parent did when they were younger and heavily regret it.

What the OP meant was the troops upgrading, not upgrading laboratory.

When you go to a new town hall try to upgrade and max your heroes first. upgrade defenses later. keep one builder idol if you are farming so that you can spend loot on upgrading walls. If you spent all your gold on walls I suggest you to upgrade something that will last somewhere around 3 days, or if a builder is about to finish a building. If you are new to Townhall 11 then I suggest you to Always upgrade your grand warden and don't stop until he is at level 20. To save time on upgrading new buildings I suggest you to upgrade those that will take less then 12 hours so that when you wake up you dont have to wait and you would save around 16 days of your life.
