There should be 3 settings for infernos:
    1. Multi target - low damage - orange beam
    2. Multi target - heal blocker - blue beam
    3. Single target - high damage - fat orange beam

Infernos are OP because people are having both (1) and (2) in one go without having to make strategic choices or sacrifices. As it stands my TH9 is not maxed but can stand up to a 30+ hog raid ok (by ok I mean I get 50%-80% wiped but they only get half available loot).

Once I get infernos I can't see how hogs will be a major issue for me any more.... Anyway I'm upgrading to TH10 now... 9 days 18 hours to go... If you can't beat them join them

Whilst I can feel the pain, (I too have faced prem TH10 and found them difficult to crack), I must say that when you have 400k on offer of each resource and a few k of DE, like I typically do now, you want, in fact need (!) all the protection you can get. I doubt many honest TH10 would vote for a nerf of their infernos given the size of the target on our backs once we get over 4m in storages....in the same way no TH8 is going to vote for the attack penalty to be reduced when a TH10 attacks them. I personally think 50% penalty is too much given a maxed TH8 is actually quite solid - especially against a barch army which is my staple...

I'm afraid you guys are gona need to beef up your troops if you want the 400k TH10 can offer - you already get it easier seeing at TH10 have lots more buildings to protect but no additional walls!

I was tempted to say fix the loot issue first because that is still broken but in this instance, I think this is a case of lowe THs wanting their cake despite having eaten it! Infernos are not free, the risk of being TH10 is greater since we can have more looot stolen from us, we are penalised when attacking 90% of other players and despite the expensive upgrades, we probably make less loot per hour than any other TH (troop for troop)....

So leave us alone unless you are making this better for us!

Freeze spell is only available for TH10s...

You need to think wider....if you go from single to multiple, you do make a strategic choice....you choose to let high level heroes, pekkas and golems come in and smack you about...multi is for hogs, lets face it...and hogs are OP, lets face that too...but im not moaninf about it, i can cook a hog just like the next player...

I dont think there is anything wrong with infernos - there might be something wrong with people thinking that their hog army should be able to destroy any base but thats not my problem...

I agreed with you until you said loot penalty should be lower against Th8's. Its already ridiculous because I can get smashed by a maxed TH9 for 270k gold and elixir as well as 2k DE. I cant revenge them because they're maxed! As it is there is no possible way for me to stop a TH9 bent on looting my DE, it's just not possible. If TH10 got the same loot penalty on TH8 as TH9 did, there would be no possible way for me to save resources.

I think the loot penalty should be based on strength of troops, not on TH. My army is barch and has been for a long time. Assuming we ignore the extra 20 troops i get due to bigger camps, and an extra spell that I dont typically use when farming (well i do now cos farming is not what it used to be!)...but ignoring that, my archers and barbarians are actually the same as those at TH9...yet I am given a penalty when using it vs most bases despite the fact its probably a weaker force than 50% of TH9s use.

It will never happen cos it would probably be difficult to code and understand, but if you had a choice of defending against my barch or a TH9's dragon, wiz and giant army, what would you choose...which is the force that shout get a loot penalty??

I love how this thread is ultimately about the IT but fix the loot issue seems to be what people are voting for. Love it!

There is your problem, you need to get freeze spells to easily defeat inferno towers.

I understand TH9's complaint. Before disco mode was around i was a TH9 and made a living attacking TH10 bases and scoring big loot in the process. The loot penalty for a TH10 stepping down and getting me insured I always came out ahead in the deal. Was this fair to the TH10, not really.

This disco mode pretty much leveled the playing field. Now a TH9 cant take the majority of a TH10's loot. Looking at just TH10 & TH9 they each have a penalty for attacking each other now. Lots of people say this is overpowered I say its balancing the game and making it more challenging. Having to earn the loot with strategy and the correct troops is a lot more fun.

As as far as the concept of a "premie" TH10 with disco mode being overpowered i would have to disagree. TH9 has the troops available to walk through the weak "premie walls + defenses" and get up into that disco ball. Max giants with a rage are the answer, and any strong TH9 base should have these available to them.

TH8 doesn't really factor into this equation because it shouldn't be expected that they could attack up 2 TH levels and have any success. TH9 has the protection of Xbows to discourage lower TH's from attacking up a level. Now TH10 has something to do the same.
