Section... 7 / 15 (Private messaging in Global chat layout / introduction)
Oh man, global has to be one of the toughest parts of this idea. We all know that we can't trust everyone on global, all the kids, the immature idiots, the daters, and the random spammers probably made this idea the most difficult to think out so it won't be abused. After lot's of thought into this section, I have come up with some things in that are different then the clan chat PM, but these things will help so this PM won't be abused
I know that you think it's a bad idea to PM in global, since you'll probably get many messages saying to join their clan. This is why I came up with the mute / block and also the blocking list which you'll see in the above picture. Right now, I AM NOT going to talk about this, if you want to read this now, go to section 9 and 10 of this idea so you'll know what I mean by "Block", but right now, lets get back on topic. Global chat PM vs Clan chat PM is pretty much the same, except the block list and the mute / block button.
Okay, so now I'll give you are small tutorial on how you will also use PM'ing in global chat, which you might know already from the first post, so if you don't what to read section 8, skip on to section 9 where I will explain the two new features of PM'ing in global.
Section 8 (How to use PM in Global chat)
I don't really need to explain how the system of private message works here because the PM works exactly the same as the clan chat . You can either PM solo or you can Multitask like i said in the Clan chat post.
But, there is one new conflict rising up from global, and that is abusing it
Like I mentioned, there is many kids and immature idiots lurking around in global, this makes very hard to make a system that is 100% positive to avoid all the because from the people in global
Section... 9 /15 (Abusing in the global chat)
Many people hate global chat because of this, this is why it was hard to come up with this section of the idea. If the same idea for the clan chat PM was copied and pasted into global, it will probably not work out well, I had to tweak some of the parts of the PM and see if it will work. After the final thought of this, I have included two new things that weren't in the clan chat area, Any feedback or thoughts are appreciated on what you think about these two features, again, it is extremely difficult to come up with something that is 100% sure not to be abused. Take a look at the two things below you.
#1 - The mute / block button in PM
- This was kind of a hard decision to make, but it's one of the things that can help get rid of the flamers and the annoying people that lure in global chat, this WILL NOT be in clan chat, this button will only be located in the PM tab of Global (Global PM and Clan PM have differences). What this does is block flamers/spammers and people that might annoy you when they PM you.
You do not want to receive messages like this from other people in global (These are examples only)
- "njcncnwwicwdfufoewdjweofj" ---> (Spam) or
- "join us, join here, join for elder" ----> (Annoying messages), or finally
- "**** u you piece of ****, you suck at life" ---> (Swearing and flaming) (Sorry for bad language)
-The examples above this are why you should use the block button and when you should use it.
When you get blocked, you will not be able to post on their PM. Now you might be saying, this can be abused. Well you have a very good thought, right now, it might be abused because a random kid can just block every person on global he sees, just to be a jerk. This is why I have included a 15 minute cooldown between blocking people. The cooldown might get annoying for some people, but it should be there to prevent people from just blocking anyone the want.
Now, another question you might be asking, "Are these blocks permanent?"
Well I'll answer it right now for you and say "No, of course not" This is where we start to get into the second part of the feature, take a look at number 2
#2 - The block list in Global PM
- When you block a player, he or she will be automatically put in your block list next to the chat tab. This will mean that all the players in this list will not be able to PM you. Again, like I mentioned in #1, there's a 15 minute cooldown between blocking people, this will hopefully at least help people from abusing it (Let me know what you think about the cooldown, should it be more or less?).
Now another question you might be think is, how will you unblock someone if it isn't permanent, this I will explain in the next section coming up right now.
Section... 10 / 15 (How to Block someone in global PM (Tutorial))
Okay, since I already explained the whole entire system on section 9, this section and the next one I will use to explain all the steps to properly blocking someone that is bothering / bullying / annoying you. Take a look at the pictures below you.
Okay, so lets pretend that you got PM'ed randomly by someone in global and he or she left some hurtful comments that bother / annoy you, here is what you do
Step #1 - When you see that someone is trying to bullying you (Example), you're gonna want to tap on his username in the PM and choose the Mute / block button. When you do finally choose it, a message will pop up, take a look at the picture below you
Step #2 - You will get a confirmation pop up (To avoid mistakes) saying if you really want to block this player, if you are positive, click "Confirm" and if you mis clicked, you can easily choose cancel and you will be taken back to where you were. When you finish blocking the player you will get this message saying that he or she was added to the block list successfully.
Now that you know how to block players, now we can move on to the next section which shows you how the block list looks, the section after that will give you a tutorial on how to unblock / remove players from your block list
Section... 11 / 15 (Entering the block list (Small tutorial))
If you click on the block list, it will take you to a page same tab, take a look at the picture below this for a better understanding.
As you can see, you have all the people you blocked on this list (From global) Remember I said that the blocking wasn't permanent, it isn't
In the next two sections, now I will explain how to unblock people individually!
Section 12 / 15 (How to remove individuals from the block list)
Do you now feel that you want to unblock someone again either because you changed your mind or that you think you gone to far and that he or she deserves to be unblocked, here, I'll give an easy tutorial on how to unblock individuals
Take a look a the picture below you
There are two components in the block list, unblocking individually and unblocking everyone, I'll get to the unblocking everyone in the next section
Step #1 - If you want to remove only, one person or so, simply click on the "Unblock" button on the person you want to unblock, then a confirmation will also appear, take a look at the picture below you.
Step #2 - If you are completely sure that you wanna unblock him, simply click "confirm", if you mis clicked, then you can easily go back by hitting "cancel'
No need to explain more, I think it's pretty simple lol,
Okay, next of all I will be showing you how to unblock everyone
Section... 13 / 15 (How to unblock everyone(Tutorial))
I'm not sure if everyone will choose to remove everybody he or she has from her unblock list, but it can be very possible someone wants to.
The steps are also very simple, but I'll still explain it here, take a look at the picture below you
Step #1 - If you do choose to unblock everyone, simply choose the "Unblock all" button next to the chat tab in the PM, and again, you will receive a confirmation message
Step #2 - Okay, if you are sure that you want to unblock everyone (Don't make a mistake!), then simply click "Confirm", and if you mis click, hit "Cancel"
Then now everyone will be removed from your blocked list and they can post in your PM again
Finally, in section 14, just out of luck, I will show you what happens if you try to PM someone that blocked you
Section... 14 / 15 (What happens if you get blocked)
This is pretty much simple, if you get blocked, you won't be able to PM the user that blocked you, and vice versa (If you block them)
This picture below is how it will look if you PM someone that blocked you
Pretty much sums this up, you won't be able to PM them, unless they decide to unblock you!
Section 15 / 15 (The ending + Q&A / suggestions from replies below)

Unfortunately, right now if they leave forever, then probably not, but you have a good thought here, I will sure think this over to see if I can edit something in there to include it.
I might be working on that in the near future, but it's actually a good thought, I need to plan it though first
Yeah I'll go ahead and say that it has happened to me before, and the 1 min cooldown is a good idea, but it can be annoying if you are trying to chat faster
Maybe lower it to 30 - 45 seconds and it will be better
Good suggestions Zombieblender! I am actually working on the friend list section, I also got to photoshop the pictures as well so at least expect it to come this Wednesday.
I an also reconsidering the clan member privileges, it would actually be nicer like that, I never thought of that, but thanks!

Right now, what probably will happen is that if he or she doesnt respond to your PM, then you will be able to tell if the user is offline.
But I like where you're going with you point, I might include that but I'll have to edit some pictures first
Yeah I am planning on reconsidering that, take a look at zombieblender's quote above you, I think I will follow his idea
