Max hogs or valkyries?

Hello!

Basically, the question I want answered is - should I upgrade my hogs or valkyries?


My situation:
I'm actually somewhat dedicated to this game, but I did start late. I'm at TH9 with 150 skull walls, all splash to max and X-bows about to finish at level 3. AQ/BK at level 10. I did purchase the fifth builder hut for things to speed up a bit.

Although my lab has been working non-stop since I started, my troops are a bit behind. I have maxed archers, giants, minions and balloons tomorrow. I decided that I want to focus on the Balloon-minion strategy and therefore completed skipped upgrading of my hogs, which are still level 1.


So, put yourself in my situation. Let's say farming DE is no issue. Would you put your money on maxing valkyries or "playng it safe" and just upgrade those hogs? My gut is telling me that Supercell HAS to buff valkyries at some point, as they are clearly the most underrated unit at the moment.

It's really no joke.

It would take me 1½ months before the hogs are at max level and really useful. What does your gut tell you? I "fear" that they will nerf hogs at some point and/or buff valkyries instead. Just wondering, if anyone has the same feeling.

I would do hogs... even if they did nerf them... just add a few more to your army... if they do buff valks... I can't picture them as a majority of your army... they're more like support troops at best
