Interesting, they have changed the URL for that helpshift site. One thing I can no longer find on the new site was the FAQ item that claimed upgrading the lab paused your ongoing troop upgrade, which many here said was erroneous. Maybe they have dumped the inaccurate information?

Agree they made it difficult to find their statements.. Had to change the wording a few times just to find that.. And once found, didnt have the usual links to other questions.
I dont usually spend that long planning a war attack.

EDIT.. The official support release states win/loss record is taken into account
Matchmaking will also factor in Win/Loss records. This ensures that your opponents are worthy adversaries.


I am, however, struggling to affix a date to this Support release..
Is possible that it is now outdated..
But I have never read anywhere about SC referring specifically to win streaks as part of the matching criteria.

They never said win streaks, just recent win/loss record.

I can't find it now either, but I do remember them saying it, I think somewhere between 2 and 3 years ago. And there has been no statement since then that they no longer do this.

How can SC possibly include a MM caveat that includes Wars from 6 years ago.

As often discussed here on the forums, the 'Recent War Performance' element was noted in SC's announcement of March 2016 :-

Thanks for that Devs desk link. That was the one I couldn't find above. Shows how time passes, when I thought it was 2-3 years ago, but was actually 4

You will note that it says "Clan Wars matchmaking will favor matches between Clans with similar recent win/loss records in their recent wars;" So it won't include wars from 6 years ago.

And I agree, AFAIK Supercell have said nothing since then on that matter.

Indeed. It's always been a hush hush subject, although, to be fair, I completely understand the approach to detailed info on matchmaking.

It is interesting however, that the Clash Royale team did confirm the existence of a 'losing streak pool' for ladder matchmaking within Royale. Not that such a statement should be interpreted as objective when discussing CoC matchmaking, of course, but i would be surprised if the two teams don't at least share similar functionality traits within each development programme.

More so when Darian has stated in the past that it is not uncommon for them to switch team members from time to time..

As always tho, we form our opinions both from personal experience and grabbing anything we can from what is released or interpreted as a hint/insight.. plus other forum members' experiences of course.

in other words, believe what one wishes, or take it all with a pinch of salt..
