Yetis need to be fixed now

I think the Yetis need to be fixed right now. If you use them as an Yetiblimp and you deploy the blimp right behind the wall, they attack the building right in front of them and then attack the wall. Why don't they attack the remaining buildings inside the wall that are only a few tiles away from them? It's so frustrating. What do you guys think?

At present, all troops follow the rule of 3 when choosing their next target. If you post images or a video, players here can likely explain why your troops chose the targets they did. But, there's not special about yetis when it comes to target selection.

Troops only "see" the 3 closest buildings. In this case, 2 archer towers and one mage tower are closer than the xbow, so the yeti doesn't see the xbow and goes for the wall that separates it from the 3 towers. Even the mage tower up top is closer, making the xbow 5th or more (catapult camp and elixir extractor even elixir storage might be closer).

This should be changed, if it's the case that the AI do not count walls in the rule of three.

They don't "count walls", walls aren't the target. Whatever building or buildings behind the walls are the targets.

If you want Yetis, or any troop or hero, to "not count walls", they'd wander all over the place not achieving much - except maybe dying sooner, because they haven't done much damage.

Get better at delivering your CC troops to the TH & this wouldn't be an issue.

    No it shouldn't.

Walls have never been counted, and nor should they be. That would cause all troops to just spend almost all of the battle beating on walls.

And even just changing the rule so that troops would always go for anything they didn't have to cross a wall for would be completely infuriating for mots people, as it would make it impossible to get troops into the core without ridiculous numbers of wall breakers and jump spells.

I think what has happened here is that the blimp did enough damage to the wall that when calculating the rule of three the cannon became the next choice which moved the yetis out of range of the xbow and they recalculated and went for the archer tower. Using such a powerful tool to take out an air def seems like a waste to me though!
