To remove the hat works if you tap on the empty pole(hat stand) then tap on the animal that has the hat on. I hope that makes sense.

Sorry, it looks like this is how it should work, as it shows the animal with no hat. However, when going back to the farm, it’s still there.

yes, I managed to add the hat and confirm, and then remove the hat and hit confirm....it didn’t have the hat in that window but when I went back to the pen....still had the hat. So it’s a glitch they will have to fix soon.

To add and remove an accessory:

1. Tap the animal pen, and then the clothes hanger / paintbrush icon.
2. Select the item of your choice by tapping. (The empty post with the green top is the “nothing” selection. If you want to remove an item from an animal, you have to select this option.) It should have a spotlight lighting it up.
3. Tap the animal of you choice, and a cloud will appear for a few seconds. Once the cloud disappears, you should see the animal has that accessory.
4. Tap confirm.

That’s how it should work, I believe. But did you check back on your farm?

Anyone know how to remove hat?
I tried give my chickens hat, and i can't remove it

1. To remove a hat or hats, tap the empty hat rack first and then the animal or animals (WP posted a picture of an empty hat rack in Post #2 of this thread).

2. And finally, tap the Confirm button and you're done.

I put hats on my sheep, chickens, cows, and pigs because they deserve them.

It worked for me an hour ago, but now I can't remove hats from my animals.

I was able to remove a hat on one of my farms last night (I tested this and confirmed it worked prior to posting it was possible). Today it's not working and doing the same as others have reported (after confirming hat removal, not taking effect).
