Preparing for TH14

You can build an entire library with all the books you would collect before 14` comes out. You can stack as many as you want to get you ahead once new town hall arrives.

I'm also not yet ready for another painstaking upgrades, even if I'm a regular Gold passer and buying offers frequently, I just got to `13 and it will take me a while before I max out, not to mention enjoying it.

Wrong. The max you can 'stack' is just one if you acquired it via Games or events. The only way to exceed the limit of 1 is if you bought them with real money from the offers.

Ahh yep, that's what I meant. Sorry I didn't make it clear about stacking "purchases"

Just about everything is hoarded to Max capacity 😂😂.

Two pieces of walls and I will be max again. Can't wait for new content, last update just did not give enough to keep many of us busy till expected winter update.

Few hero upgrades would have been nice to keep the dark flowing

Just curious how everyone is preparing for TH14. How many books, runes, hammers, and potions are you stacking up?

as of this writing, 9 BoF, 6 BoB, 5 BoP, 10 BoH, 7 BoE, 4 gold runes, 7 elix runes, 2 dark elix runes, and every hammer. all potions are maxed. i used up a couple of the BoB when the most recent update came out and i upgraded my army camps.

yes, i use real money to play the game. no, i dont care if you play for free. everyone has different things they choose to spend their money on.

Exactly. My magic items are full. Builders are all sleeping. Resources overflowing. Not sure what else I would do to prepare.

I should think you will be in a LARGE majority.

Very few people will be doing anything to "prepare" for TH14.

Most of us aren't maxed yet, so will still be using books & medals & potions in the normal course of events. For those who are maxed, everything will be at max capacity fairly soon anyhow, so nothing to to to prepare.

I'm preparing by finishing my minis. My main is maxxed except walls and a handful of useless research (and pretty much has one each each rune/book/hammer + 500 medals saved), so I'm focusing on getting a few stragglers to TH10, un-rushing my second TH13. Maybe I'll level up a TH12 that has been max (except walls) for months, or I might just leave it there and play something else ^^

I'm not choosing what to do based on upcoming CoC upgrades, but based on my clan's needs and my fun. Right now, 2 issues:
1- I'm having a hard time playing well all THs from 8 to 13, so I'm tightening the spread to 10-to-13, and I might go 11-to-13 but that would mean upping 5 minis...
2- My Clan is having a hard time maintaining a League roster. The easy solution is for me to have more TH11+s to fill in (that(s the desired minimum, though we still take on deserving TH10s), though playing endless attacks each day for a week is not fun.

I'm buying 1 or 2 gold passes per month and nothing else, so I can't stack magical items. That won't change, those passes will not even go to my TH13 until TH14 is launched, and even then , if they trickle upgrades like they're doing now, it might not be worth it dedicating a pass to the 13-to-14 upgrade: I'm OK with defenses taking their own sweet time to upgrade, the one urgent thing is the offense and that's very few buildings (lab, camps, CC, maybe factories, 1 or 2 troop and spell research). With 2 Hammers of Building and 2 books (I preciously kept the last Book of Everything ^^), you're pretty much set. Ditto for Research w/ 2 hammers each of Potions and Fighting.
