    The only way

    When ever SC decides to reduce the wall costs, then they must do the following thing:
    - Add refund resource (temporary 3rd resource)
    - Refund all walls at its original costs as 3rd resource.
    - Shield up TH (because all walls are gone)
    - Let the player rebuild all walls at the new costs using the 3rd resource.
    - All eccessive 3rd resource can be converted to gold.

    Everyone happy, except for those who gemmed and maxed everything already.

    I agree with reducing the price of the higher level walls, if not 10 and 11, at least 10 and leave 11 to the addicted players.

    Why would they be mad. It has now become easier for them to upgrade the rest of their walls, and for those which have completely maxed out their walls, which is rare can now look forward to making a new account and having to spend the same price to perfect it.

    Why is that the only way. Players don't need a refund. I'd be jumping for joy if the walls became cheaper even if it was only for a day. I think many players would enjoy cheaper walls even if they didn't get a refund. Atleast now they don't have to continue wasting resources on walls.

    Only way to satisfy the majority of the players. If every one is like you, of course no problem, just lower the prices. But there are many more people.

    Lol, too many players actually enjoy farming. 2billion gold is the number quoted to finish the last 4 lvls. Lets say, the average raid gains 200k gold (minus the cost of army and any resources lost being raided) with an army build time and "nexting" of 45 mins, means over 7500 hours will be spent obtaining gold from raids, over 300 days(of continuous 24hr play). This of course, not mitigating for other upgrades, day to day resource costs that will further you set you back. So yeah, if your life is so bad, you need to be staring at your phone "nexting" for nearly 2 years, then sure, keep walls ludicrously expensive.

    As the opening post pointed out, walls while they look good and are good against some troop types - they are useless against others.

    Walls are there to give the hardcore farmers/clashers something to achieve. But they aren't OP to the point where players with lower walls cannot defeat them.

    I watched a shocking replay of our of my clan mates getting carried away attacking a base with gold walls…problem was everything else was TH10 max and he lost.

    Walls are handy, but not essential. So the prices are fine, if you want to grind them - grind. If you don't, ignore them and move on - it won't harm you too much at the end of the day.
    IMO, walls differentiate between a casual player and an hardcore farmer.. the prize should be as high as it is now. When all your defenses upgraded and your gold storages overflow with the loot bonus, what are you going to do with all the gold ?.

    If there is nothing to achieve, I will loose interest in it. so lets keep the wall for the end game..

    I agree, they definitely are not worth the gold we pay for them.
