    Ideas💡

    I’ve always wondered over the many years I’ve been playing CoC, why Supercell have only given us the option to only collect one of the resources (Gold, Elixir & Dark) from our Clan Castles, I myself and I’m sure many of you fellow Clashers would like to an option to do this?
    Also a forfeit option in Wars, for the unfortunate event where your Clan is getting beaten and there’s not a chance in winning etc, a forfeit option would be great to save waiting for the war to end, just forfeit and start another war......

    It's ruled out to only collect a specific resource from the CC.

    Even there was a forfeit you would still have to wait for the war to end.

    That's not what he is meaning, hes saying that if the lets say Leader decides that their is no way for their clan to win the war they could just forfeit/surrender the war and the war would instantly end for both clans and then you could just start a new war search right then and there.

    I think that this would be a really good idea as in irl in a war you can surrender. If your clan is losing really badly and you dont want to have to sit through hours waiting for the war to end you could just surrender and the war would end BUT your clan would be on a 1 hour cooldown after a surrender.

    Surrender is a terrible idea and completely defeats the purpose SC setup to not allow clans to war immediately back to back every day. My understanding is the main reason of the prep day is to slow things down. If you could start a war, immediately do your two attacks just for the loot bonus, then surrender, you've just claimed 50% of the war win bonus (I think 50%) and then go on to start a new search. You've just cut right into the timeline SC specifically setup for wars.

    Although I do understand the intent of throwing in the towel when you know you lost, it could be taken advantage of. Plus you could rob other clan mates from getting stars earned if they didn't attack yet

    Highly doubt if they would ever do that. Sad fact is that if there is any means to take advantage of a loophole, some people do exactly that. Imagine FWA intentionally spinning with agreed to predetermined results, then aborting war within first hour, only to rinse then repeat.

    Besides, even if you surrender to my clan, we still expect the right to continue to attack, gain resource rewards, gain XP, and harvest war stars. It is not a real world war, but it is a game, a competition. And like any competitive endover, the game must go on until the final whistle regardless of how lopsided the score becomes.

    I completely understand but the cooldown was not made to reduce the amount of wars its literally a prep time, time to finish all outstanding upgrades, get troops trained and to view what the other bases are and to discuss strategies with your clan, not to make it where wars can go back to back

    having a cooldown between a surrender will force the clan to wait, as well you could make it where all earned loot gets deducted by 50%

    That's why only the Leader should be able to surrender wars, and if you have a bad Leader robing you ob loot from wars with a surrender then just find a new clan, most clans wouldn't use this feature anyway and if your the Leader of a successful clan then i am sure they have good morals

    100% the world is messed up and people will search and find and abuse loopholes, but that can be easily fixed and it connects to your other concern of the opposite clan still deserves to attack, you can have it so instead if the opposing clan leader wants to surrender then the other clan leader could accept the surrender and the war would end and both clans get a 1hr cooldown and the losing clan gets a 50% loot decrease and the wining clan gets a 25% loot decrease or the leader could reject the surrender and the war would continue
