    His comment can be explained as he is from New Zealand so his peak is US off peak (golden hours) and im guessing you play standard US hours?

    Nothing to do with luck. Gold farming has been great in crystal.

    Gold was bad for th10 before the loot update too. It was so bad when I first moved up that I went sub-200. The sad thing is that the new loot system destroyed sub-200 for th10 (which was such good fun) as the increased losses forced the best targets out. Like Daddy, I farm at 1600-1700 but have to click next many more times on average than he claims. There really is no sweet spot for th10; it's just soul-destroying, mind-numbing slog for usually pathetic net returns.

    personally I would fix it by doubling the league bonuses and refunding trap re-arm costs for successful defences.
