So this happened yesterday ...

Bit of background: Sprint2Finish is my rushed donator that I’m fixing, she’s come a long way from her initial days of TH12 (with L1 walls and defences) and it’s taken a lot of work. The majority of offence and defences are now max TH13, cannons/mortars/archer towers TH10/11, walls halfway through TH11, max RC/warden, L56/50 Queen/King). It’ll take me a little while yet but eventually she’ll be a maxed TH13. She won’t go up another hall until she’s done as I now have enough big accounts in the clan to cover her siege donator role (which is why I built her initially). I’m quite protective of her ... yes, she has her own personality lol, as do all my accounts, it’s just the way I am!

We have a strategy where we safe shot 2* the top bases first, trying to get as much % as possible, which then allows our hammer and top 13s to go all out for the three (you will know a lot of the bases these days are either 3* or high % 1*, if unlucky). Our lower TH13s and TH12s are very good at doing this, knocks on to be very useful in outmatched CWLs as well lol

I love playing Sprint, she’s a fun gal, but because her heroes aren’t where they should be, she’s not a 3*er on heavy/max TH13s ... but I can 3* low/rushed TH13s and maxed 12s with her (on my good days) and she gets those safe shot 2* In most wars that is my job, cover the TH12s and/or 2* the TH13s lol

Most of the time, Sprint’s big enough to take care of herself on defence but this clown got lucky and 3*d her ... right army, right entry point on my base Which is always a gamble you take with a rushed base, but then he/she did this *points at attached picture*. I 2*d his/her max base, he/she 3* my rushed base (then 2*d the max base he/she went after with his/her second hit, oh the irony)

I sooooooooo wanted to go over and point out that my other accounts (TH12, 11, 10, 9, 8s) had already laid down 12 first hit 3* and my TH12 2*d their bottom TH13 ... and that put me in the 40* bracket compared to his/her measly 5* ... but restrained myself Having refrained from paying them a return visit, I thought to myself beating them would be enough ... alas, it was not to be, they then 3* our #1 and pipped us by one star ... suffering suffotasche ... oh well

I’ve had a couple of people pop across to congratulate us on the win and a fun, closely fought war and I’ve done the same in return to other clans. But have never had something like this happen before, where someone leaves their clan and requests to join just to talk ♥♥♥♥

Anyone else got any similar stories, is it a “thing” smh? I was surprised at how passionately I wanted to defend Sprint’s honour lol, which is hilarious ... honestly, this game

In any case, I'm assuming the blocked out part was profanity you were editing. In that case, I'd just report it, best to not get into a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

I've thought about sending join requests to mock a dip attack swagger (i.e. dumping unused spells at the end), although have not ever done it. I have sent join requests when I see war bases that haven't been updated in some time letting the opponent know. Actually got accepted once and had an argument with someone who thought that not updating the war base on their TH10 from their original TH7 was saving them war weight...LOL

BTW, you can prevent this by simply closing during war.

BTW, you can prevent this by simply closing during war.

This is probably why we don't see this much, and it usually takes us an hour or so after a war ends to get around to re-opening.

Oh hilarious, seriously? I check everyone’s war bases every now and again, to make sure we’re not running duplicates as we get a few of our bases off ClashChamps (I hate base building). The one I have in Sprint is an original nicked from a friend, so it befuddles a bit mostly. It’s surprising how many bases you see that aren’t updated tbh, you’re being extra nice there lol

Yeah we used to close when we warred a couple of times a week, but we war back to back now and have friends popping in/out for a chat/visit regularly, so I’d be manically opening/closing the doors every five minutes lol Just don’t accept anyone we don’t know or hasn’t got the password to the door So I guess will have to suffer the consequences for the benefits of less admin

And ooooops I’ve done the spell dump at the end when I’ve had to clear a lower TH ... but it’s because I don’t want it buggering up my next queue and going back and deleting them is too many clicks to be bothered with when I’m playing all 12 accounts in war lol ... never thought about it from the other person’s point of view tbh ... to me it’s convenience, not swagger lol

One war i forgot about earlier this year the opponent had a solid hero and th advantage and beat us on percentage. after the win was secured they sent invites to all our heavy accounts.

i popped over to see if they just wanted to chat, as I've done this before... nope they were actively recruiting. i was not polite after that and ended up getting booted. funniest part... they lost the next 4 wars and have been dead since. (i tagged them and watched them to see what would happen)
