Why can’t they just fix this?

With less than 5 puzzle pieces to go, the game will not give you the opportunity to earn puzzle pieces for the last baby zebra! Zero on today’s spin the wheel event nor can you reshuffle for them in the derby rewards. So the special puzzle piece boat event latter in the week will be a bust. This has happened to me in the past when finishing up animals or on land expansion... final puzzle pieces or final expansion permits are gone from events and derby rewards, and prizes in the valley are not available! You have to go through support with a long explanation and backup screen shots to get these final pieces. Again... why can’t they just fix this...it’s not like it’s the first expansion of the sanctuary! I really don’t understand.

we have had, in my hood, the same problem and are having the same problem now, over and over. My hood mate needs only 3 pieces after she collected her horseshoes, there was none on her wheel and the one in the valley said “not available”.....

one thing I can say is support did send a puzzle piece to replace the wheel one pretty quickly, and they also purchased the one in the valley for her....by waiting to send off her morning boat until after she collected the horseshoes, which is what causes the glitch, she does now have a regular Monday puzzle boat coming AND she was able to buy the one that previously said unavailable in the valley. Apparently the best time to get the final pieces, with this seemingly unfixable glitch, is Monday after your horseshoes are closed, and the new derby hasn’t started.

Saturday I am sure will be a mess as many farmers are within 10 pieces and puzzle boats won’t come in that circumstance either. I expect a lot of screen shots and support tickets ! I wish they’d just fix it too.

I had one piece needed for my for baby zebra Number 1. I thought I had completed it with last weeks puzzle boats, but let it go.

i completed the puzzle boat today and it said my baby was complete, I went to my town and it was still showing one short

not wanting to contact support more than once, I then collected 2 puzzle pieces from my derby rewards. These 2 did go to my babies.

i won’t bother contacting support over the missing puzzle boat piece and I will try to be thankful that I am not stuck at 35/36

Funny but confusing design to prevent player to go over the cap of their book. This could be improved but not much a big to be fixed.

I even choose a puzzle piece in a derby long time ago without unlocking sanctuary. Still wonder where it went

I have exactly the same problem with the Land Permits. I need 5 more permits to open my last piece of land. But I have lost the ability to gain them.

I shuffle the derby rewards every week to get the maximum number of permits. Usually two, in columns 4 and 7. But in bingo derbies or bunny derbies, I can get five permits as they also appear in the three extra prize columns. I shuffle however many times is needed. Usually, it only takes 1-3 shuffles but occasionally it takes 4-8. The last three weeks, despite shuffling a lot, I have received no permits. None!

Additionally, I have almost always gotten one permit from each Lucky Bonus. There might have been several times where this was not true, but it wasn't many. A couple of times I got two permits from the same Lucky Bonus. In the latest valley, I have not gotten any permits from the first two Lucky Bonus spaces.

I've spun the Wheel Of Fortune a lot over the last few years. Sometimes 60-70 times when there is a permit on the wheel. I know some of you will think that's crazy. But I don't mind spending money on something I love. Or at least I didn't, as my love has faded greatly. There was no permit on the last WoF Special Event that was supposed to have one. I wrote to Support and after the usual bad customer service and hassle, they gave me one. Thanks so much.

The same thing happened with the previous expansion, a year or two ago, when I was trying to open my last piece of land. I got down to where I needed just one permit and I couldn't get it. I had to write to Support, go through a ridiculous amount of time and effort to convince them the game was at fault and it wasn't just "random chance" that I wasn't getting permits anymore. It's so frustrating that the same thing is happening again.

As infuriating as it is not to be able to get the permits, it's even more infuriating to write to Support. Because the first answer I always get is that the permits are random. I've been playing the game for over 5 years. I know how things work. Sheesh. It's like calling for help with your computer and being asked if your computer is plugged in. I'm spending my money on your game. Can you at least treat me fairly FOR ONCE without the condescension? Please.

I've spent thousands of dollars, maybe as much as $20,000, playing Hay Day. I can't think of any other company that gives such lousy customer service. When you tell a Customer Service Rep you have a problem, their answer should be to apologize and make it right. Not to question the validity of your complaint. SC Customer Service obviously went to a totally different training program though. They are terrible.

BUT there hasn’t been a permit boat event in ages, so....you can also try screen shots of a permit wheel event, although this will only get support to send you 1 permit.

the best time to get the game to think you still need permits is between derbies. On Monday after your horseshoes are collected (the sleeping horse) save a piggy game to play if you can until then, it will have a chance of giving you a permit then. Likewise any permits in the prizes of valley will unlock then (they become unavailable as soon as the horseshoes load when a new derby starts - for reasons passing understanding, the game seems to think every horseshoe can be a permit or a puzzle piece instead of the 2 we know are max so it literally thinks you have up to 9 pending items if you’re in champions league so stops giving permits and puzzle pieces when you’re close to 9).

even if you don’t take a task, the derby start will wreck your permit allotment.....good luck. It’s so frustrating.

I'm not going to write to Support. I'm losing interest in the game for this and other reasons, so I may just stop playing instead. So many of the higher level players I used to trade with have already stopped playing. Guess I'll be just one more.

Maybe tomorrow it will, depending on supports promptness. I’m screen shotting all of my completed boats, not a single one of them has been a puzzle piece and I still need 4 more. So, same old, same old. Usually support will respond tomorrow, show us your completed boats and Alfred arrives with the missing pieces but it’s kind of silly doing it this way every time.
