Let me introduce myself: I’m Laverne Music, raised sorta in the Truth but baptized since December 22, 1974. I’m elderly and confined to a wheelchair for 25 years. I have a medical Service Dog named MeiMei. And my current favorite scripture is 1 Peter 5:6,7 because it reminds me to leave my anxieties with Jehovah!
And my current favorite thought is from Br. Letts talk on the Convention ... the difference between a laborer, a craftsman, and an artist : an artist puts their heart into it. Do you realize that means that Jehovah allows us to see into his heart? He put his heart into everything he created!
Cute discussion in break-out room tonight ... Br H said something about an elders meeting after they closed the rooms. Sr. P. commented that there should be a “weights and measurements “ type chart for families of Elders : Quick 5 minute conversation = 1/2 hour. Short (or brief) meeting = 2-4 hours. Normal Elders meeting = “just go on home and go to sleep. Try to have some coffee and something for breakfast ready for my when we’re done”!!!
