Have you tried force closed Hay Day and clear cache of Hay Day? Sometimes bad temporary files can corrupt device memory. Other step is what Tahoe suggested

Happens to me a lot recently, either I can’t open the game or it continually crashes. The only way I can resolve it is by deleting the App, completely closing iPad, re-start iPad and download again from App Store. Bit of a faff but it works for me.

version 1.47.97 is not available on iOS. It does for Android.

Have you been able to try another wifi network? A 3G/4G network?
Would you be able to connect via a wifi hostpot from a phone? When I had this problem in the past, changing the connection helped.
If it's not too much trouble to reconnect the wifi network or other network memorized by the device (you would need the network password for each one of them), could you try reset network settings on iOS device?

On my previous iPad sometimes I did not find an update for HD in the AppStore, where I knew there should be an update.
Then I removed the game and reinstalled it.

Since a few Month’s I play Hayday on iPad Pro (11 inch) and iPhone 11 because iPad 2 crashed to much.

    You’re not alone

I’m having the same problem on my iPad. Also a newish iPad, with latest os, and latest version of Hayday. Like you, it only started happening a few days ago.

Apologies if this is in the wrong place or it’s already been covered. I can’t seem to find help. So I have HayDay on my iPad, have done for years, used to play lots (in the days of Woozle and Boroughrob) been playing more over the past few months, 3 days ago, I went to play and it says connecting, then, can’t connect to the server, or problem with the server. I have internet, I play other games, but I googled stuff and got my emails just to check. That’s all good. I have shut the iPad off. I have sufficient memory, it’s a fairly new device. What do I need to do?. Please don’t tell me after almost 8 years, I am going to lose my farm....help

    Thank you so much....

    Nina.
