    Help!! I can’t connect to HayDay

    Hi everyone.

    Apologies if this is in the wrong place or it’s already been covered. I can’t seem to find help. So I have HayDay on my iPad, have done for years, used to play lots (in the days of Woozle and Boroughrob) been playing more over the past few months, 3 days ago, I went to play and it says connecting, then, can’t connect to the server, or problem with the server. I have internet, I play other games, but I googled stuff and got my emails just to check. That’s all good. I have shut the iPad off. I have sufficient memory, it’s a fairly new device. What do I need to do?. Please don’t tell me after almost 8 years, I am going to lose my farm....help

    Hi...

    It’s version 1.47.96 Does that sound right?. It’s not ever happened before. I’m missing farming. I do hope it can be sorted out. Many thanks

    It sounds like the last maintenance break on monday prior to Valley start broke your connection.

    The latest version should be 1.47.97. In addition to Meonhoc's suggestion, I would update your version.

    Make sure you have your ios up to date as well.

    Just updated my iOS , this is usually automatic, but I just did it. I can’t see where to update HayDay. If I click on the link in the App Store, it just opens the game. Seriously this is frustrating. I be messaged supercell too. I’d be seriously disappointed if I lose my farm after this many years.

    Is your farm connected to SCID?
    Also, I'm on Android, not ios, but maybe someone on ios could provide the info on updating the game through Apple.

    Yes it is connected to that.

    my iOS is up to date. I have checked in settings and I also did an update
    I have 100GB of free space on my iPad (which is fairly new, about a year old just over)
    I have always playing HayDay on here (since buying it) and was playing last week no problems
    I can’t find updates in the App Store to update HayDay
    I have turned the iPad off and on
    I have disconnected the internet by turning the hub off
    I have also upgraded our broadband about 5 months ago so it’s really fast. WiFi is great. Got full bars
    I have checked my internet and my email to make sure I have actually got internet connection and I have. I have one other game on the iPad that requires internet connection, and that is fine. I am also typing this message and sending it needing internet connection. And this is working no problem.

    When I click on the icon on the screen, I hear the start up sound, see the birthday cake thing. It shows it’s connecting. But it stays there....connecting. Then it will say that there was a problem connecting to the server.

    What is so frustrating is that I did what I do every night (I usually play at night) play HayDay, turn iPad off, Charge iPad if needed, following evening play HayDay. Then it just stopped. I haven’t done anything different, installed anything new, it just won’t connect. And like I said, I have had the game for such a long time, I have spent real money on diamonds etc and I’d be so disappointed if I lose the farm, I certainly wouldn’t start again. I’m only level 89 I think, but I certainly wouldn’t want to start again.

    If you are sure your farm is connected to SCID, your progress should be saved. If you know the email associated with that ID, you might want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the app after you have followed instructions from Support. Wish you the best!
